I hadn't expected this two parter to be put together. Project Pallisade is one of my favourite ones
Yoooo same. I have fallen asleep to this one forever. When he announced he was combining the old 2 part video I had my fingers crossed for this one
His SCP-5000 video is my favorite of all time
Highly recommend
That's how I feel about the MTF videos. Some of them are amazing, from the thematic names to the unique differences between them. The Exploring Series goes hard.
One of those videos where I go back to multiple times for being soothing to sleep, to know what's going on, and to confirm what I heard was correct as I didn't properly understand it.
I barely understood the whole scope of the story. From what I got, this “Worm” entity eating corrupted timelines/parallel universes is actually an object equivalent to a rock in a higher dimension. This higher dimension seems to be in a midst of a war, where our section of reality has been hit or in the process of being hit.
Same here
I really, really, really enjoy these Foundation A vs Foundation B vs Foundation C type SCP entries. Really brings a surreal atmosphere to the entire to the "what if-" kind of mindset with all SCP universes.
Well said. I totally agree. Parallel dimensions and alternate timelines is my absolute favorite trope in media. So when it involves SCP, it's perfect.
We exist as Lovecraftian entities destroying countless realities, not out of malice or spite, but out of benign forgetfulness.
The existence of the foundation depends on our collective memory, and so it delays the inevitable. It doesn't want us to forget about it, and so it creates countless realities for us to consume.
he doesnt even need to consistently produce new content for us, even his past work is worth rewatching. his presentation is as significant as the subject itself. i swear he could read off the nutritional facts on the labels of canned food and id listen to it to hear his opinion of the contents of tomato soup
There might be a canned soup SCP out there at some point and your above hyperbolic suggestion might have been its initiating genetic spark
Let's all take a moment to appreciate Mangg for consistently uploading despite being on holiday
well its just two old vids stitched together, still appreciate it though.

New favorite SCP-001. I enjoy the multiversal threats just as much and the banana assassinations
Hope you're enjoying your break!
I've been rewatching a lot of these, so it's good to have full versions.
I knew I wasn't crazy lol I wasn't 100% if I had listened to this before though lol
My phone's bluetooth auto connected to my parent's car radio when I was listening to this. My parents thought this was a news radio broadcast and were horrified at what they were hearing.
Meanwhile I was at the backseat imagining them as D-classes and I was a researcher doing an experiment to see how far they will go before they begin questioning:
1)their sanity
2)the principles of baseline reality
3)the credibility of TES as a news outlet
Of course the veil was unravelled eventually but it was an thrilling experience
Cosmic Horror at its finest. Imagine what their WMDs must be like.
A species that makes the Xeelee look insignificant.
I wonder where they stand on the level of the Scarlet King and the Brother's Death?
Perhaps they're High Elder Gods?
Come on. Shake it, Dr. Bright
Bop it
Portal it
Hand
Shake it like a Polaroid picture!

as soon as i heard, " a non anomalous box of dirt" i had a stronk cuz i knew what was bouta happen
What was will be, what will be was.
Gravity is desire, the worm loves us and we love the worm.
I really love how this story feels like both the conclusion of all the "canon" arc and the beggining of a new era in the mythos
Ahhh perfect timing for my nightly scp bedtime story
i love how the UIU is a joke in all universes, except on this one and a few others... doomed to die
there seems to be a correlation...
Also... damn, barely bugs in a war of "humans"... and those "gods" probably have "gods" above them... man, its a cage within a cag within a cage to infinity -> amazing...
Just in case anyone missed it - it's strongly implied that we are only a copy reality, and an unstable one at that. Food for the Worm.
Or maybe we are the worm

The existence of the foundation depends on our collective memory, and so it delays the inevitable. It doesn't want us to forget about it, and so it creates countless realities for us to consume.
i remember watching this when it came out on the bus home from school, the sky was dark so early. every time i see project palisade i feel so nostalgic :')
I gotta be honest, I didn't care much for the Project Palisade storyline until the last part of SCP-3591. It really put into perspective what's "really" happening, with the Foundation of the Mainline Reality being powerful enough to create ENTIRE ALTERNATE REALITIES, and yet still not being powerful enough to avoid a ricocheting rock thrown in a war happening between forces they can't possibly comprehend. Really boggles my mind.
That is what really turned me off to it. I liked the idea of the one true universe creating copies of themselves just to use as bait to desperately survive an all ending universal threat, but then if fell into the same horribly overplayed and overused "Lovecraftian" trope.
The old nothing matters we are so small we are less than ants to them. Its so old and overplayed.
Can I just say how much I love that thumbnail? I truly can't tell if it's intentional, but at a small size it looks like a gigantic humanoid face and hands holding up a much smaller human, as if in curiosity...
I’m glad some of these great videos are getting both part edits, makes it way better to sleep to!
And to listen while driving
So I'm not the only one who's listening to it at the weekends huh
Here's my comment from the original part 1 video:
I love these lengthy confusing plot-twist SCP's. I'm so excited for part 2!
Here's my comment from the original part 2 video:
This was amazing. It honestly makes so much sense and works well into the narrative. That's so cool!
Now for my thoughts on this video where both parts are combined:
I still agree. This is very interesting. Definitely some of favorite kinds of SCP's for sure. It's so existential and nearly impossible to understand the scale of something like this. That kind of concept is incredible yet also deeply terrifying. It really makes you reconsider everything you know. It's very well written and I'm glad that we can get both parts combined into one video now. Nice.

The random warframe screenshot really got me.
Im listening to this relatively serious reading of a scp-file, and then BAM!
Remember the silly spinny laser-thing?
The one that kept knocking you on your ass when you started playing the space-ninja game?
Thats just here now.
SCP Foundation:
"We have no idea what we're doing or what effect it will have; but, we can do it. So we probably will."
"Something must be done. This is something. Therefore we must do it."
I love the concept of the Palisade explaining how there can be so many SCP canons, one off universes, etc. The concept of palisade product universe creating their own palisades and so on is kind of mind boggling
Oh boy 1 AM!
Omfg Agent Duma saved many souls and put them in that box in order to float around when liberated in this world in a different form, that is why the population of pufflings white cutie floaters jigglers increased recently. I seriously have like 40 of these guys now, they are cozy funny hehehe and they like strong good smells of authenticity essences of good works, I witnessed just 5 of them arriving 2 years ago. They didn't multiplied, they called others, they are finite migratory species of souls in a company matter. They like to do pranks when people are hasty also. Yes, it is a Keter, a benevolent good one! They like hot cocoa so much!
I've spent months listening to every video atleast 2 or 3 times enough to remember them I don't know if it's the ease of putting this on and zoning out or just your amazing narration but thank you tes enjoy your break :)
Solution for the Red Bishops, just paint silly stuff on the tech used while keeping up the good works!
So basically take care of your own Universe and protect those who are decent from other Universes but know where they can stay in order to be of help instead of causing troubles.
This one has been my favorite SCPs for a while now, glad to see your reading of it finally put in one part
23:38 This SCP sounds like a giant dead Galactus
Basic humanoid shape check
Mixture of mechanical organic check
However The thing also doesn't seem to have any definite form and seems to change depending on the viewer check (That is an actual cannon thing to Galactus, He appears as whatever The viewer sees him as and since throughout the comics were always looking at him through a human perspective we only see him as a humanoid entity)
At least I'm noticing a lot of similarities between this thing and galactus as I know him

Absolutely love the videos TES project palisade is my second favorite story behind the eighth commandment
Aw sweet, was wondering when this would be updated. Hope your vacation is going well, TES. ♡
Always looking forward to Mondays.
Cheers TES, hope you're having a wicked break. Much love from New Zealand and thank you for the longform videos

I learned if the SCP wiki and your videos less than 1 year ago. And I cab personally say that I've watched all your videos while I work and go to bed. And can say that your videos among all other CZcamsrs who make content for bringing alive the SCP wiki are the absolute best and most descriptive. I hope to see more cannon videos from the Bellerverse. And so I asked God canons and those of the church if the broken God and hope to see more about the broken gods counter part from where sarkicism comes from... all of these videos that are 1+ hours long with each part of the subject. Are my favorite by far. I truly can't wait to see and hear more from you.. thank you for everything and all your hard work! Your videos have become a serious interesting g and enjoyable part of my life! Your the man!
Pure joy when a new post is made. Gonna sleep good tonight
Excited to get back to this one, have a good break TES
I can just listen to these all day. Thank you
Some of them neighbours need Faith but some of them migrate to be sheltered by an Universe as fortified like ours! Basically this Universe along with others are Arkhs or Trains(where AT? Depends!) in order for other Universes to be saved! We are awesome together!

Sounds like DC Infinite Crisis stuff. The gods above gods sound like the "New Gods".
The ending made me understand why Ideon looks like a GM....
Anyone else miss SCP's about infinite potato bags? Its only SCP vs or SCP's so grand in scale I need an hour or two to dissect. We have fallen.
16:17 omg its the Warframe Spy mission vault from the reworked Corpus tileset of Jupiter! :D
On a controversial note, this ending reminds me of one of the weirdest aspects regarding religion. Why would an all-powerful being require you to believe in and worship them, and why would anyone want to hang out with a guy like that? Kinda like the idea of a world-destroying entity that couldn't care less that we are here, one way or another. The SCP Foundation definitely has a bend toward self-importance (for obvious narrative reasons), a refreshing take on everything trying to kill humanity for no reason
It makes sense from a Platonic perspective, for example, if Good, capital G, is a person, then opposing that person is bad by definition, you need to accepted the hierarchial superiority of Good, to be good, and you need to worship Good to be good. (Good capital G being "Goodness itself")
@@euclidesribeiro8810 why wouldn't just being good be enough for the Good entity? I.e. following their tenants, accepting their wisdom, etc? Worship is this extra step. Like, I follow the laws, and I think most big laws are good ideas, but I don't worship the laws. I don't spend every waking moment thanking the laws, asking the law to protect me, all those things religious people do. I just don't break the law
@@skeetsmcgrew3282 It is enough, but if the Form of the Good, Goodness itself, is a person, than you cannot be good AND rebel against it. That is the point
I'd be interested in hearing you talk about All Tomorrows if that's something you're interested in!
The 05 guys with tele kill alloys I thought would defeat the hat......
It was very good to listen to this. It helps with my nerve pain. Thank you.
I do really enjoy the twist that all of this is to protect against not a sentient anomaly, not a weapon intended for us but the reality equivalent of an ant hill being stepped on.
Your diction is awesome man! A rigurous trainer voice I recognize, also a teacher! Mithology study time!
The mainline SCP Foundation are quite similar to the Utopian humans SCP (past and future). They both want to sacrifice others for their own survival and peace.

The Worm vs The Scarlet King? Who is winning this round?
We exist as Lovecraftian entities destroying countless realities, not out of malice or spite, but out of benign forgetfulness.
The existence of the foundation depends on our collective memory, and so it delays the inevitable. It doesn't want us to forget about it, and so it creates countless realities for us to consume.
Depends what level of reality we assume the scarlet king resides in because if it's part of the False Realities Made by the "Mainline foundation" them the Rock(/worm) wins but If it's on the same level as the ones who threw the rock that is the worm then the scarlet king effortlessly wins
No way I JUST relistened to this LAST WEEK
I was not expecting an expansion on the palisade entry. This is good!
I keep wondering: How can a Foundation know it is the "True Foundation" if they can not see nor interact with the reality above it? =/c
And also: That they disregard a theory to be unproven, is rich. Seeing as they do not know if the worm is indeed gaining strength or not & not sustaining itself on their attempts to survive. So they disregard a theory that might actually be the thing that happened. >.>;
Also: Doesn't THE WORM kinda sounds like an actual Blackhole of sorts? =/c
How can religions know they are the correct one without interacting with their god? Faith and self-preservation.
This is funny because we are reading the story from the POV of yet another Foundation, which implies they themselves are a mirror dimension or "we're" in one.
Plot Twist: "THE WORM" is the boosted 682 from 6820.

The existence of the foundation depends on our collective memory, and so it delays the inevitable. It doesn't want us to forget about it, and so it creates countless realities for us to consume.
I wouldn't mind if SCP-3591 death and the Worm was caused by the wars of the low elder gods in the SCP Mythos. The Scarlet King is raging a massive cosmological war with a massive empire to boot.
To SCP-682 and SCP-173 this is all stuff they are used to seeing.
I have fallen asleep to this video every night for the last couple weeks. Such a good sleep aid.
Once more, will see some bits and then leave a nice like.
The giant body sounds like a storylines from Marvel Comics. To which Earth discovered that Galactus is dead and his corpse crashes onto Earth.
Though different outcomes come from it. Either unleashing a zombie plague that pretty much devastates the planet. To a Xenos species pours from it and also devastates the planet. To Franklin Richards (Son of Reed Richards and Susan Storm's son. Or The Fantastic Four family) using his literal God Powers of Creation to resurrect the Eater of Worlds. All to save the universe from some big bad threat....don't judge. Comicbook logic.
Or we got the Space Station "Nowhere". Which is the literal head of a being known as a "Celestial". And won't go into details about what they do there. Just say, it is more than a den of scum and villainy.
Yeah....
I have been waiting for this one.

Congratz on 900k subs, bro!
14:54 So, it's kinda like William Gibson's _The Peripheral_ , but as an SCP.
Kinda sounds like a big analogy for cancer and death. The entity (death) not being avoidable, using corruption (radiation) to "delay" this entity etc
We exist as Lovecraftian entities destroying countless realities, not out of malice or spite, but out of benign forgetfulness.
The existence of the foundation depends on our collective memory, and so it delays the inevitable. It doesn't want us to forget about it, and so it creates countless realities for us to consume.

This... reminds me of the scp computer that sends people back in time making a second timeline where things would end after a certain point. But on the screen of the computer you could have q chat with who went back and there be a icon of a dog on the screen chasing a ball. It's chained up but when it gets the ball the other universe is destroyed.
