These are my favorite J’s of all time. I was at the all star game in Charlotte when MJ debuted them in 91 and I got the OGs for Christmas that year. I already preordered a pair and I’m looking for a second pair to go on my mantle. Thanks for the review Chris.
The Air Reverse layup in the 91 finals comes to mind with that shoe. One of my favorite Jordans ever...
They retailed for $100 back then because of inflation. 200 now is probably even cheaper than 100 was in 91.

Ordered mine last Saturday the second they dropped. Having had the original back during my Freshman year of high school, I was really wanting them again. They arrived yesterday, and are perfect...no glue marks... nothing. Simply beautiful. Next, I will be picking up the Lakers 13 colorway.

I watched that switcheroo game live all those years ago. It’s kinda cool to know I watched a historic moment as it was happening. I also had a pair of those 6s. I preferred the 5s but pretty much every number of Jordan coming out back then was the bomb.

cop'em on snkr app last year-these shoes hold a sentimental value- i first bought a pair of my own money summer of 91- rode my bicycle to big town mall in mesquite at the foot locker- stunned them my junior year in high school feeling like jordan himself even though no one can be like him-so these are my favorite of all time-
The infrared color came from the typical Nike colors at that time. Air Max 180, Agassi's Air Techs. Those were great times at the shoe stores seeing all those bright neon colors coming up.

On your comment about doubling up not being worth it, I largely agree but I wouldn't be surprised if some of these colorways retroed from 2015 onwards didn't come back for a long time (I hope I'm wrong.)

The Air Jordan 6 was my first Jordan I ever bought. They were the maroon 6's back in 1991 and I was 11 years old. It's one day I'll never forget and to top it all off my own cousin stole them from me. The retail price on them were $125

I wanted these shoes since I was 13/14 years old and now I finally have them! I saw that Kobe and Tracy interview earlier today. I'm with you man! I miss competitive basketball....I miss defense really. It wasn't that long ago the term "2-way player" never existed because practically everyone in the NBA played defense and Jordan, Pippen, Kobe were all around basketball players. Plus they don't even play man on man defense anymore....which takes more stamina than zone. LOL!!
2-way players existed but they were only dubbed such a thing if they were great on both ends. It’s a dying breed for sure.

When I got my Jordan 6 hares there was this weird material poking out a stitch on the side of the shoe. Very noticeable. I was pissed.
Infrared 6 is dope! My first encounter with Jordan back in 1991. Speaking of the design, this shoe got no rival. This is the best design and color. But I always wondering about the cushion. It is hard as hell. Is the original that MJ wore has the same type of cushion or they got different type of insoles?
If I don’t get the turbo greens, I want to get these.
