SINGLE, DUAL & QUAD Tracking Guitars for Metal | How to Record Guitar | Metal Guitar Tone Mixing

Hey all, in this video I run through some examples of single, dual (or double), and quad tracked guitars in a metal context.
Generally speaking I like dual tracking my guitars, but sometimes quad tracking can be a really awesome effect to add fullness and punch. It's great to experiment to get the sound you are after. I hope you find this video helpful in getting an understanding how to record multi-track guitars and how it sounds.

Hey Scott, I’d assume you blend different amps for double and quad tracking as well. I understand this was to show the sonic difference using the same amp but was curious how difficult it is to eq two amps and how much phasing issues come into play. Great video as always brother.
