Local dealership wanted 300 bucks to install the kit. Thankfully the guy was like "you can CZcams it and save 350 bucks after tax". Such a great looking addition to the car.

Thank you for this installation video. I have a completely blacked out 2021 Blazer RS and I've been pondering the glow tie. I've been concentrating on blacking out all the other exterior accessories at this time and using your videos for installing the side markers, vent shades and hood deflector. Mud guards are next and then black chrome lug nuts on the 21" rims. It's exciting to see what you'll try next on your awesome Blazer! Take care!

I want to do this on my wife's '24 Trail Blazer. I imagine it's the same badge. Looks so clean. Only downside is the fact that I'm going to get some people upset because we don't have the RS. We went one step up from base model. Love the car! Quite an upgrade from her '06 Trail Blazer

Bro I wanna thank you so much for this video. Everyone kept saying they need to take off the grill. I knew that was a lie. If only I could like this video 10000x because u saved me a lot of money and times. I did it less than 5 mins using a knife. I replace the gold to for the one u got.. Hahhaha.

Thanks for the vid! I just did mine when I got home from work. Took me maybe a 1/2 hour. I ended up breaking the clips on the old bowtie, but I won't be needing it anyway. Do you think connecting it to the DRLs will diminish the life of the glowtie or is that where the instructions say to connect?

Thanks, for the video. Super easy to install. In my 22 RS the intake has another screw, but you can still work around it. Again thanks.
My dealership is insisting that in the 22 RS they changed something and it is not possible to install without removing the front bumper. Can you please confirm this is not true? Thanks!

Did mine yesterday, thanks for vid, I've also paint to match the headlight bezels silver ice metallic. Have you considered smoothing out the mud flaps and painting back sides to match the gloss trim?

Wont the bow tie turn of when the blinker is in for that side, being the DRL turns if on the side that is blinking?

Hi grade video I have a ‘23 traverse redline would this fit? On line says it will not ?
If I can ask, when you installed the glow tie, could you get to the blinker bulbs from the opening as well? I'm thinking when I go to install my glow tie, I want to replace the bulbs with GTR LED bulbs.
Turn signal bulbs are accessed through the inner fender liner. Turn wheel to remove 2-3 torx screws and bulbs right there
Just got a 21. Not an RS. But Iron Gray and came totally blacked out. Pretty good looking. V6, towing package, and most of the options of the premier. Still need to do some mods. This looks like a good starter.

Nice video can you show how to put led headlights in? Do I need a transformer?
After you take off the 1st initial cover you have that other tray, can you remove that to get behind the grill to put leds in it or will I need to take off the whole thing anyhow?
I'm thinking it would be best to remove the whole thing honestly. Unless you have really tiny hands lol
I have the 2018 traverse lT. Is there anyway to seperate the daytime LED from the turn signal so it does not turn when using the turn signal? I hate ruining the daytime led light when you use the turn signal it turns off the one of the daytime running light?
Is the rear emblem easy to replace? I'm assuming it's just stuck in place with double sided tape....I just hate to assume.

From what you saw on the back end of the GlowTie, was there any way to access into the inside of the GlowTie, so as to change the colors of the LEDs? Thanks, Jeff

NO, I am just going to keep it White. The LED Bowtie is all sealed up and I am not going to cut inside of it to make it Blue.

So not sure if you’re gonna read this or not but I finally got ahold of one and installed it today. It is very very dim seemingly. You can’t see it at all in the daytime as opposed to the daytime running lights and at night it’s brighter but easily overshadowed by the headlights. Yours looks nice and bright. Is yours dim too and maybe just showing up better on cam? I see towards the beginning you had a fail lol is that because it was too dim? Anyway maybe mines is defective…hope not after all I just went through to get it on.

Hey Chris, do you happen to know what type of bulb is used in the glowtie? I bought a used 2021 Blazer RS that already has the glowtie but it's not nearly as bright as yours and others I've seen. Also, any idea on how to change the bulb? Thanks, appreciate all your Blazer content.
It's honestly not as bright as the camera picked it up. It's more of a glow. There's no bulb that I'm aware of for purchase though

Watch a video for the Silverado first. You need to pull the grill back to get access, don't try busting the old bow tie out like in this video. Make sure you don't route the wires through the shutters by accident either

Man i broke the brackets on the grill, the little tabs that hold the bowtie, I mean the bowtie stays in place but it comes off REALLY EASY, any ideas how to fix it? I just dont want to glue it

I bought this for my boyfriend for Xmas for his avalanche. It wont install. So I took it and put it on my blazer. Took about 40 minutes. Can’t see it in the daylight so I have to wait for dark to check and make sure it’s on. I followed instructions though and saved about $260 on installation. Hopefully it works good!
