I test drove a used black RS that had the windows tinted, including a half tinted windshield. My wife loved the tint. It also had the window guards, which I like and she hates. So I just ordered a 2022 Blazer RS in Iridescent Pearl Tricoat which comes with a mandatory black roof, this is a premium $1,599 paint option. So basically it looks white with a black roof like yours. I ordered the optionl all-black 21" rims and matching size tires. I ordered it on February 12th and I should receive it on March 14th, which is tomorrow! Thanks for the video!

Chevy must have watched your videos as my 23 RS has black roof and grey bottom led head lamps and tail lamps and led reverse lamps.
So how to change out headlights. I don’t need new ones yet just wondering. My Blazer is a 2020 RS….. I love my car but know someday lights do burn out. Thanks for your how to video. I plan to do glow tie sometime this summer

@@TheSnyds Did you ever consider wrapping the mirrors? I was thinking about that and a neighbor brought it up to me. Looking at Range Rovers for reference as they have black roofs and mirrors on the Velar and Evoque, but their mirrors mount in the black part the door. The Blazer does not, so Im not sure how it would look. What are your thoughts?
I've tried. It's def a hard mirror to wrap
The Red Line has black mirrors and door handles. My first reaction was that it looked good, but body color is "Top Self", and look more luxurious instead of cheap black plastic.
I noticed on your drive on the highway that there is no speed limit display next to the speedometer. I had my Blazer for two months before I discovered how to turn it on (my Blazer has the navigation). Also I have tried out the "touring mode" versus the "sport mode" speedometer display and have found I like it better. Thanks for the videos. I'm upgrading a few things after seeing how easy it is.
Good thing to note!
I would recommend the locking lug nuts. Those tires and rims are pretty expensive. And for the cargo area, there are tie down rings from the dealer that fit in the cargo rails. They come in a set of four. With some bungee cords you can secure anything.

Have hot red a stock 2019 AWD. Any tips or recommendations?
Better check state law regarding how dark you can tint your front door windows. In most states that would be illegal. I can't even imagine why you would tint your windshield and taillights, hampering your ability to see and be seen!
Great vid! What were your mpg's prior to and after getting the intake?
It honestly got about 2 mpg better

Any plans on changing out the inside lights? I bought a different color but can't seem to figure out how to get the existing led's out without damaging anything.
How have the auto ventshades lasted/held up?? I have heard they fall off shortly after installing (1-3months) .. I also read the back window lets rain in with them?? Is that true??
I had them in for years with no issues. It's all about your prep work to ensure it stays
Did the lug nuts fade since you installed them? They were nice and shine when you installed them. They look kind of matte black now, relative to the shiny rims. I'm not saying it looks bad. I kind of like the contrast actually.
I wouldn't really say they faded, they just aren't as glossy as before if that makes any sense.

Mine did the same thing, also sounded like the windows were cracked when they weren’t too. Either way love what you’ve done to yours, I just traded mine in on a Silverado tho

@@TheSnyds for me it’s actually an upgrade lol I’m happy with it, my blazer was a base model. Slow af, they need that v6. It did get good gas Mileage tho! Went from 22mpg to 12 ⛽️🤭

I can't find the rain guards anywhere. I love this car. Best ever. I have the "pull me over red" (actual paint name lol). Where can I get the rain guards? Weather tech hasn't made them I'm on a waiting list!

Thanks! I couldn’t find that before. I got it. Yours looks amazig! I have to say. Does the intake give you any horsepower? My friend does a lot of engine mods and told me he could get me up to 600 hp with the right mods and little strain on the engine. Thinking of doing it but I’m leasing so I’ll be buying it in a year when the lease is up. Wish I could post a pic here but I can’t.
@@Michaelkenneth83 thanks! And 600!? That sounds pretty high for this but keep us informed! It provided better throttle response and not much hp (feel) difference.
@@TheSnyds well who knows. I’m actually happy with the 308 it puts out. For a crossover that’s really good. Sometimes I put it in sport mode though I don’t like 2WD. if I wanted that I’d get a car. Gotta watch the curbs with those wheels. My RS Wheels are similar to yours but mine are all black I didn’t have any silver trim. I’ve had to use touch up paint to fill in the curb scrapes on the wheels. You can’t see it unless you look but it’s not cool lol.

Yes. But also check your states requirements

Apparently, they weren't told that tinting a windshield (beyond just putting the tint strip at the top) is illegal. It's also illegal in Florida to have any type of cover over the license plate (even a completely clear one).
