Italian Football Clubs should be banned from Champions League Football

Violence against English fans travelling to Italy has gone unpunished for far too long. With the stabbing of a Newcastle fan on Monday night a discussion is needed whether it is appropriate to temporarily ban Italian teams from European football competitions.

Agreed. The behaviour and violence by Italian football 'fans' is atrocious. And it's not just attacks in Italy - they attack, stab etc fans when they come over for games in England. There is the very sad case of Liverpool fan, Sean Cox, who suffered catastrophic head injuries caused by Roma fans when they played Liverpool at Anfield back in 2018. That individual was sent to jail.
I'd go further, I'd ban Italian clubs for longer than a year.
