What a great episode! This is just the sort of thing that should be on TV. I vicariously enjoyed all of your meals and the exploring and you both looked great in your unique tux outfits! Many thanks as always 🙏👏
Strangely, your most charming and enjoyable feature yet.
Thanks
Two dapper gentlemen take on Paris. Your dinner at Tour d’Argent looked so delicious and I really admire your filming skills, such beautiful food photos. I really wanted more! Thank you so much! ❤❤❤
Thanks very much
Lived, studied and taught in Paris and still hanker after another long visit from here in Northern France. The cost of meat is much higher than I pay but it is Paris after all. A really excellent and absorbing video Tim and Mr Boo. Paris still has its magic doesn't it.
Yup I finally got it (4th time lucky!)
This was indeed a cracking episode; I thoroughly enjoyed the tour of all these iconic locations, and the dinner was truly something exquisite and exclusive.
Paris always has something special and unique, and indeed, besides all it possesses, it boasts an unparalleled haute cuisine recognized worldwide, I am extremely grateful for this truly unique and special Sunday episode, for the tour, and for showcasing all these places that make the capital of France a place apart.
I hope you had an excellent journey back home!
Thanks very much it was quite an epic trip and edit!
❤ This was a really enjoyable vlog,we have never visited Paris and we love the rain...
Aĺl the eats looked incredible right down to your picnic.
......and eating your soup the posh way Tim 😉 and no licking the plate as my mother would to say .
Love you two, thank you for another wonderful vlog ❤ x
Thanks Ruby. I loved south Pigalle. Much less the rain!
What a lovely photo of Mr. Boo just after dessert (at 20:25.) So handsome!
Wonderful on many levels. Deserves much more visibility.
Love you two, you must be so much fun to be in the company of, thank you
That was lovely! I'm a bit peeved though that you have revealed to the world my current favourite street in Paris: the rue des Martyres.
Sorry it’s great!
wow what a treat. thanks for taking us along. loved mr boo’s byeeeeeee
Another brilliant Episode! Look forward to your videos every week. I still can't work out how your subscriber numbers aren't significantly more.. Keep up the good work and look forward to your future adventures...
60% of our weekly viewers aren’t subscribers they need to hit the button!
Happy, happy memories of Paris and no - at13.16 - it's not a drink🤣🤣🤣
I love your videos & look forward to every Sunday for a new one. Today’s didn’t disappoint - although it wasn’t my beloved French Riviera - it was a nice change to see your Parisian adventures. Mr Boo makes an excellent tour guide, I was salivating at all the food. ❤
He does he took us on a good route!
That hotel room looked like a steal (take) for Paris and that price.
The meal at a ⭐ Michelin restaurant must have been really an experience, i'm a bit envious 😉.
This Paris adventure was a cool change, but next week - can i please have Elton back??
Elton forces his way back next week on account of poverty!
Another fantastic video, where did Mr boo buy his coat it's amazing
Zara a few years ago now
Hope the Paris Tourist gave you a wad of money for this very professional, amusing and enjoyable video.. Thanks
I wish!
Hi guy's, I've lived twelve years in Montmartre... I loved it and I'm still sorry, that I sold it to go back to the Netherlands 😞... I really loved this item guy's, it brought back so many memories... It is strange that you didn't see any Citroën Ami though, in 'my time' you almost stumbled over Citroën Mehari 's because they were made out of plastic and that's ideal in Paris! Anywho I hope to have more of these trips; keep them coming! ❤
We were surprised! Maybe more in Summer. So many down here
Fantastic Video guys, absolutely loved it!! Got me pining for a trip to Paris.. keep up the Fantastic work!! 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
I was feeling a bit depressed tonight and you two have cheered me up no end. You're so funny and it's great to escape the chilly grey of England for a few minutes ❤
Thanks very much.
Good to see you treating yourselves, why not . What a wonderful city paris is ,food, wine ,and all the interesting attractions. Did you ever see “ midnight in Paris “ woody Allan 2011? With the gorgeous Marion cotillard . The Paris to nice cycle race finished today and quite a few puddles around .
Probably your best video yet .
Thanks very much. Yes we caught the traffic jam but didn’t catch the bikes sadly
My mum and dad introduced me to your channel. I am very glad they did 😊
Thanks Michelle and welcome!
Delightful gastronomic tour of Paris and all the food looked yummy! You guys are fortunate friends paid for your Tour d’Argent outing because most folks wouldn’t be able to afford an evening out at a five star restaurant! Most of us can only dream of eating such superb food. Time passes quickly in the capital and like they say, there’s nothing quite like home. That said, glad you enjoyed your Paris experience! 😊
We were very lucky and we couldn’t have afforded it either!
Tim: What are we having today Mr Boo?
Mr Boo: Ce sont des œufs en nuage au caviar et au foie gras posés sur une brioche tiède avec un verre de Pouilly Fuissé Louis Latour 2002.
Tim: That's exactly what me moom useta make me in the mornins, but 'twas a fried egg set on a bit of toast an' margarine and a big moog o'tea with loads of sugar.
That were just before we threw her on’t fire for warmth
Well, it looks like you had a great time in Paris again and it was fun to take a look around the big city of Paris. Too bad about the rain, but there's not much you can do about that!
Indeed except take a brolly
This was a fantastic video. Helps us francophiles that cant get back to France from Australia. We need more of this also.
Thanks Daniel
Enjoyrd every minute ogf your jouney ,classic Paris at its proverial best well done Boo who cares whether you take it or steal it
thanks
Brilliant thanks
Thanks guys as always. Looked for you both this morning on the side of road with Paris-Nice cycle race whizzing through you town.
We were there in the afternoon jam!
Love following you on your travels and discoveries. Please don’t stop, you make my day each time...
Well try and keep going!
Beautifully constructed as usual. Great content too. Thank you guys.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Excellent excellent!!
Many thanks!
I lived in Paris for 6 months when I was a student back in the day and loved it. South Pigalle has definitely changed since then ! €50 for lunch at Le Select - that’s not bad at all. Mmm birthday dinner at La Tour D’argent, I better start dropping some hints lol. Fabulous video guys!
Yes start saving now…
This was a very straight view in the city of love! Not used to that, lol
Fabulous episode.......Made my mother's day ❤
I reckon a lot more than the shirt remark probably shouldn't have made the final edit 😂🤣😂. You guys are completely outrageous (and wonderful fun)👍. Thanks so much!🤗
Indeed and thanks for your support!
I watched this video while having my tea and it tasted twice as good, watching your food tour. Wow! I wouldn't know where to start and it all looked so delicious. One of your best videos. Xx
So glad you enjoyed!
Absolutely brilliant weekend with you lads. Not sure about Mr Boo's dubious city tour lol but that trip was great fun, even in the rain. Must say the editing was excellent as well Tim, the music and film worked really well. Thanks for taking us all along. 👏
Thanks Andy so pleased you enjoyed. It was a fun and knackering few days
Mister Me and Mister Boo! That bed was big enough for 3 !!!!! But enough of that 😂 good to hear the alleyway being compared to the one in Dewsbury Tim 🤔As for hilden showers & punishment night possibly being a drink errrr really 😂😂 this vlog has just about everything with you 2 !!!!!!! Excellent entertainment 👌 stay safe and well and obviously stay charged 🎉
Indeed or four!
That Select food looked excellent especially at that price. Do love swordfish which I discovered years ago in Sicily. Your looked delis. Mind, Mr Boo's sausage looked great too. If you will forgive me matron.
Le sélect was very good value I thought
Why is Mr Boo wearing my Ikea bedroom rug as a coat😂.
Has he been in your bedroom?
@@MeandMonAmi I found him in the closet and send me back via Narnia.
This was so wonderful, thank you so much for sharing, love that you covered so many restaurants! Mr. Boo I love that overcoat, very nice. ❤
You are so welcome
Guys
I always enjoy the food / vino elements of your vlogs. This trip was one wonderful food-feast! I’m so jealous! Even the picnic on the return train journey looked delicious!
thanks Mike it was a full of food ep!
What a fantastic time you two had in Paris, thanks for taking us with you 👍
Our pleasure!
Here a day early for my "sunday night special" ..just in case Tim couldnt resist an early upload!
Incroyable! And most honestly, after trying to endure the top recommended boringly stiff and 'Intellectual' Paris videos over the last week, this was the best and delightfully refreshing and enjoyable, one of your best. Not some stiff talking head on a stool but but a real trip to Paris with real friends.
Best loved bits:
2:55 "No love involved"
9:00 Food heaven
17:48 'From shirt-makers to Shirt Lifters'
19:05 Dinner at Tour D' ARGENT
29:38 'Mr Boo's Heavily Intelligenced correction",
35:00 'Some Old Wiskey and Lemonade'
Thanks Jack. We do try to have fun otherwise what’s the point!!
Fascinating, the places you go to and manage to find! It's also very nice to see Paris again, as I haven't been there for a decade or so, and SO much looks to have changed!
Need more content like this . Lyon next !
Thanks we really enjoyed it and I’ve never really stayed in an area I liked before but I loved south Pigalle
Vous m'avez donné envie de retourner à la Tour d'Argent !
Le restaurant a été refait et il faut que je vois le changement.
Bien à vous deux.
C’est magnifique! Merci bien! 🤩
Love this vlog, you've got so much done. Loving the raised beds there xxx
Well done boys. A fantastic video - so enjoyed it. Please can we have more like that. It would appear that Parisiens don’t think much of Citroen Amis then!! Bonne journée from Narbonne
We’ll try
Oh wow, every time I think I'm over Paris, I see a show like this. I started watching your show because of my attachment to Nice. Your show has only strengthened my interest in that city. But the food in Paris is just so impressive. Even the sandwiches you brought on the train. However, my renewed curiosity about Paris is tempered by that rain. I remember that rain well; it rained for days last time I was there. All my nice clothes getting soaked. Perhaps I will go back at a sunnier time of year.
It really does rain a lot!
Great video and hello from the Essonne. The little pastry things towards the end of the video are chouquettes. My kids love them.
Montparnasse is nice. Mme MB had her works do at the Bobino years ago. It was interesting.
Bon séjour et bon retour dans le sud.
Yes we’d like to have seen Montparnasse more but…
@@MeandMonAmi Fully understand. Last August I went down the Dordogne (in laws have a maison de la campagne there) on the TGV, instead of the usual slog in the car.
Didn't take a lot of time for a wander around Montparnasse at all really. Shame.
Excellent and discreet photography at dinner. I find myself saying when I see you both out there, and your engaging and slightly tongue-in-cheek rapport, "Why haven't you been snapped up by a TV channel?" We've had Hairy Bikers and the like. I do think it's time for M&MA to get more exposure. 😉Just so long as they didn't have demands and change your format. Stay charged and the immense fun that you are. PS, did you take back a souvenir for dear Twiggy?
Thanks Mark. She got some special treats!
Great episode. Had to pause it halfway through to get a Ham Sandwich.
Lol
Thanks for a brilliant watch xx
Thanks very much
You, guys, like a comfort food. All the negatives go away with your flicks, past or present. You are on the right way. One day your approach will become a visual McDonald's for many. Try Spain sometime? From the French border to Barcelona. Give you my Platja D'Aro apartment with a sea view for free, while I'm on Camino de Santiago.
We really want to do some Spain!
I am a long-term subscriber and have watched all your videos but this episode is simply THE BEST for many reasons. As a Yorkshireman, I greatly appreciate your humour Tim and the way you and Mr Boo work together is unique. My partner is also from Yorkshire Tim and her family (The Fozzards) owned a pub in West Ardsley she keeps pestering me to ask where were you born?
I was born in Dewsbury! Thanks so much
Wow! thank you for such a great episode! What an amazing treat to go to such a fabulous restaurant. I really enjoyed your wanderings, and all the sites. Paris, although beautiful, is far too busy for the likes of me. I really enjoy the way you and Mr. Boo tease each other, and Tim, your quick wit and little gems of stories have me in stitches! Your channel is comparable to any professionally produced TV documentary and deserves so much more viewership! Thank you for taking us along...and to both of you for just being your unique selves! I adore you both....😘🌷🌺🌹
Thanks so much Louise really glad you enjoyed
@@MeandMonAmi...I am in desperate need of a holiday...recently retired after 30 yrs of Nursing and teaching. Haven't been able to holiday in over 15 years...and even my holidays were spent looking after my elderly parents....Ahhhh....the south of France is beckoning me....
Incredible- Tim’s favouite word & throughly enjoyable. I felt quite nostalgic for Paris but sunny skies next time pls! Dinner at La Tour - wonderful ( do they have a vegetarian option?) Will take note of all your other recommendations
As I have to pay €250 euros last Sept for a hotel ( for a wedding) your sweet place in Pigalle was great value.
One question : how do you both stay so slim after all that “nosh”?
Would the annoying intellectuals understand that?!🤣🤣
More tours a la MonAmis!! 💙❤️
We starve the rest of the week (see this Sundays video!)
I really enjoyed this. Never been to that part of Paris, but my bf was from St Denis and we lived in Toulouse when I was a student studying French. Great video!
Thanks it’s a great area I think
excellent video, as always, loved seeing paris,me and the wife always watching your videos,we will shortly be heading for a holiday again to nice on April 3rd with our daughter.
Thanks and have a great time
Oh I loved this video Tim Nar Mr Boo. I liked the Genia one but this one was even better. Filled with gastronomic fare and indulgent drinking. Don’t step on a scale any time soon, the pair of you!! Went to Paris in 1992 when Euro Disney opened. In a bus tour. Remember those Tim? Hated the bus because we went for a coffee and didn’t realise that the seating was permanent after that. I landed up in the middle of strangers and the two boys separated on either end. Yugh. Saw the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame. Went up the Seine on a tour boat. And of course Euro Disney. Excellent time. Loved Paris.
And I also hate spell checker. 😡
Me too!
I first went on a bus trip from school and was suspended for my behaviour!
Once again a great video. Another snapshot of French life. Thank you.
Thanks for watching
Great video.Spent New Years in Paris, we miss it. Can't wait to get back. Love watching you two. Going to villefranche next year, hope to run into you. Looking into Mr. Boos Airbnb
Please do!
That wine list is something else! Interesting video!
It’s a bit mad!
Mr Boo, maybe try saying "purloin" & see what the intellectuals reply, "voler" is the same either way!? but in essence you are right because you are appropriating something belongin to another table, one variant of this transitive verb is "to take or carry away for one's-self, so... "may I purloin the salt, or even "may I avail myself of your salt" (make use of)..next time you run into fancy schmancy types, as a thickset skinhead chap looming over a table it was often my opening line in genuinly slightly plummy english to calm anyone thinking I was about to accost them..
That’s funny!
Fantastic vlog 🙌🏻🙌🏻🫶🏻
Love the video you guys looked so dapper in Paris
Thanks Michelle!
.. excellent .. enjoyed the obscure Les Dawson reference ..
What was it?!
.. the ‘kite’ reference while Mr Boo was eating the beans ..
Lovely thank you both. Took me back to all the time I spent in Paris 20 odd years ago………… Paris, twinned with Dewsbury!!!!
Our pleasure!
Brilliant vlog as usual guys…Paris looks amazing, and you did it proud. Just a heads up, and apologies if you already know, but the Tour De France is having its final stage in your neck of the woods this year, I believe on the 21st July between Nice and Monaco. Now’s your chance to find a spot to make a vlog from and you could get one million views on the first night. Stay safe and stay charged….Des and Shirley in Dorset.
Thanks. Do you know anywhere?;
@@MeandMonAmi hi guys, unfortunately, we have never been to your area. However, if you google, Tour de France 2024 final stage, you can find all the details of the final two stages, 20 and 21. All around Nice and Monaco. This year the tour ends in Monaco as the Olympics are being held in Paris. Definitely something for you to think about. Stay safe guys ! Des and Shirley.
@@MeandMonAmi actually, I got it wrong….the final stage starts in Monaco and the tour ends in Nice.
Very enjoyable thanks. Paul Brighton
Really enjoyable video guys , Mr boo looking particularly dapper and also liked the 3 button shirt . When in Paris aye .
Thanks Antonio!
I love the look of Mr Boo's sausage.
Absolutely Brilliant! Enjoyed it All! Thank You Both
Thanks Mike
Great entertaining video lads. Ooooh that grub!……you’ve left me starving!
Thanks
What a super video 👍 and hope you didn’t get on the scales when you got home 😉
I think the upset stomach that followed the excess saved me. They don’t put that in the Michelin guide!
To me it's not as exotic as it uses to be (enjoying the wonderful gloomy weather of Ile de France every day and dreaming about sea and sun) although I learned about the sexodrome :D Yet I did enjoy the video! Glad you had a great time in Paris :)
I’m not a great rain fan but enjoyed editing the rain if not walking in it if that makes sense!
Bonsoir mes amis d'Espagne. Parfait! Ici il pleut. J'adore Paris, especialment le Metro, Les Halles, la nourriture, tout! I was first there in 1955 at the Lycée Louis le Grand in Rue St Jacques. More recently in Jaurès at a little hotel just around the corner from the Metro by Canal St Martin. I must admit that I prefer Croque Madame to Croque Monsieur. Must go back to Paris before I kick the proverbial bucket but then I also want go back to Amsterdam, Bruges, Bogotá and many other places but I fear that I shall be disappointed since there probably aren't enough years left.
Thanks for sharing😍
Wonderful, wonderful video!!!
Many thanks!
What an amazing episode! Your script was on fire with Kipling cakes hotels joke and the not tonight Josephine hotel review ! Honey smokes! Great stuff! As always amazing photography, great incidental music and Mr Boo’s facts all kept this episode rolling along. A great success and now I want to book a trip to Paris to see for myself. Other cities perhaps?
Yes though we’ll have to save up. Cities aint cheap..
This is another great entertaining video 😁
Glad you enjoyed it
Really enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing
Thanks John
So enjoyable thanks Xx
Thanks for watching
Really enjoyable! 👍
Thanks Adrian
Cracking episode fellas. Really great.
Thanks Simon
Fantastic episode! ❤
Thanks Jim
Wonderful video.. skills!
Thanks
Fabulous video gentlemen.
Thank you kindly!
Just spectacular!
Many thanks!
Different and great episode...!
Thanks Marcelo!
The problem with getting the milk right for a coffee is that it is drunk too quickly !! I agree, it's annoying to steam badly.
It is and the milk temp at the start makes such a difference!
Another great video
Glad you enjoyed it
Just an idea. Could you link up with 'Paul in the Philippines Old Dog New Tricks' with a Sponsorship from Citroen to introduce Elvis to the local population? Seems the Ami could well find a new market and it would make amazing viewing. Just an idea
paul and Barry Chuckle do it again great video
Glad you enjoyed it
Monster portions on her petite dejeuner.... . That's All-Day Breakfast (You wouldn't need to eat again that day)
Next time your in Paris visit the parc Andre Citroen i went there years ago- fab video glad you enjoyed your selves much love Sean xxxx
thanks Sean. Sounds fab I think I once saw a video on it but I maybe be making that up
Thanks for the cornucopia of food scenes. Looked like more of a place for Camilla than Elton. Wonder if Twiggy could get along there??
She’s have caused food chaos!
