"Elegant barbecue"🤣🤣🤣
Just call it an outdoor reception.
Love an elegant barbecue
He's confused cuz nobody knows what the hell an "elegant
barbeque" is!
Well, in the South there are elegant bbq's but not much fun. It's not fun to cut your ribs with a knife and fork. And it actually looks pretty stupid when you are doing it.
That is the sneakiest looking bride I've ever seen. God help that man.
I think that the bride doesn't even know what an elegant BBQ is..
taco bar, mexican corn! easy and cheap, dont forget the limes and coronas..
@@keli449 mmmm Mexican corn is soooo good!!
She's literally one of the LEAST offensive brides on this show 🤣.
OMG! I thought Grandma’s dress was a bad joke at first! Then I realized it wasn’t!😬🤦🏻♀️
Yikes on bikes!
I dont know . . . Did you see the smirk on the mom when she got upset?? I think the mom was enjoying pestering her daughter 🤣🤣
I am cracking up🤣
Lmbooo 😄😄😄😝😝😝
This show is scripted with poor "over acting" bride and grooms..entertaining, but fake
I can't believe her fiance actually expected her to forgo her own dress choice and wear the "free dress" instead. He has no idea how much wedding dresses actually cost and that $2,500 for a wedding dress is a reasonable price, not to mention a bride picking out her own dress is practically a right of passage and helps set the tone for the entire wedding.
$2500 is reasonable if you HAVE $2500 to actually spend on a dress!
$2,500.00 for a wedding dress is very reasonable.
People are so brainwashed by the wedding industry.
But the dress is gorgeous.
Dress from grandma was hideous.
She should have showed him grandma’s wedding dress and he would have been happy paying the $2,500 lol
Yes she should have showed him the free dress but 25,000 dollars naw
@@jacquelinegunter1358 It's $2500 not $25000!
Agreed
@@jacquelinegunter1358 exactly twenty five HUNDRED NOT THOUSAND.....$2500 is WAY different than $25,000
I doubt it, he would have tried to talk her into it, because of the bucks.
Omg that free dress was hilarious. I laughed so hard LOL. It really was a beautiful wedding and she DID look amazing in the dress she bought.
Right! Hideous!!😅
MOTHER of the bride LOOKS SO YOUNG
She looks amazing and she looks so Russian!
I highly doubt ANY of these couples on this show will still be married 10 years later. A Couple that feels the need to hide things or bully one another is not a team that is going to pull together over the long haul.
I agree with you. Well I believe that I might have seen a bride on TikTok talking about leaving a narcissist husband. I'm not sure but she did look a lot like one of the brides.
strangely enough, most of them are. These shows are old
It was not good comment
Happily married with kids. She's on social media.
@@karibaxter5330 That's good to know; think they make a great couple!!
OK, I'm cheap but I would have drawn the line at that dress, too.
Exactly! Thank you!
I would have looked for a new cheaper bride.
I'm so tired of brides (and some grooms) saying It's MY day!
These people are repulsive. They don't seem to like or love each other. The way that groom talks to his bride is like he is talking to someone he despises.
Ohhhh the 80's style wedding dress is so sad. I hope grandma got a great deal. It is more hideous than I imagined.
Surprisingly, I think they are a good match. They seem to really love each other. Yes, she's sneaky, but I'm pretty sure he knew that when he asked her to marry him.
Just my opinion, the free dress (though I'm sure it looked beautiful on grandma's wedding day) would look better without the puffy sleeves and add a fuller skirt (or an A-line skirt).
Remake the dress using Grandma's material
Ooo
Yesssss that’s what I told my mom!! I actually loved the dress if they would’ve added a full diamond white organza and toned down the sleeves. Maybe not even take them away completely just smaller😍
I love my granddaughter, I would NEVER expect her to wear what I pick!
So cool that her mother escorted her for the ceremony.
Does anyone else think that the narrator lady sound like Betty White!!!
Yes, and a little of June Cleaver, too:)
I’ve been trying to figure out who it is…
She sounds familiar, maybe from those crime show voice-overs
The yellow 🌻 🏵 flowers 💐 & bridesmaids dresses were so 😊happy & 🌞!
I think the “grandma” dress was really the mothers wedding dress and it was set up for the show.
Could be.. 🤔 but it possible they found the most hideous dress and scripted it in.
I hope so. Otherwise it was really cruel.
I think so too
No matter how funny groom's ideas are, the bride just forces him her way.,she doesn't explain to him, just says it's MY wedding. She should have explained what she wanted before they start planning
I see more money spent on a divorce😆
isn't it OUR DAY????????? men deserve who they marry
The real question is ...was it put on credit cards? because $32,000 on credit cards can turn into 200,000 real fast..Don’t ever do that for a one day party!
i love weddings when you cooperate both culture in it
Weddings aren’t about how much you can spend it’s supposed to be about love. HEllO
You mean he'll no.
Seems like the Brides I've seen on this show care more about the wedding then marriage. Hiding things from your groom is not good.
👏👏👏👏👏 say it again with a bull horn.
Susan that's well said. I totally agree with you.
Yeah, but love wears really thin in a marriage when money is tight due to overspending on a wedding.
Why are you two getting married? you can't agree on anything
He was smashed at the reception lol
I really like this episode, because she wanted to surprise him to incorporate his Caribbean culture to the wedding as well I thought that was super sweet of her to care about his culture too. Also, $2,500 for a wedding dress like that is such a reasonable price anyway because that dress is super hideous, even doing a bunch alterations of how you wanted is not going to save its life either. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
What's sad is that practically no one will remember this reception 6 months from now. Who won last years Super Bowl?
The reason Italians and Russians are able to spend so much on their weddings is because the expected gift is MONEY not toasters, hence the MONEY box .lol 🤣
Even Portuguese too
In all fairness, Grandma's dress was exceptionally hideous
Grandma's wedding dress is totally 80s!🤘🤙
Honestly, I just can't imagine spending over $30,000 unless I was relatively wealthy. They sounded like money is tight for them. But they're adults and get to make their own choices.
I would spend half and put it to a house. I have been in 10 weddings and a bridesmaid 7 times. No they aren’t all married still. Honestly, they all run together a decade later. The small in a national forest wedding that cost by friend 10 grand is the one I remember the most-and had the most fun at. She is also one that has the best drama-free relationship (and didn’t go into debt and got a house with the extra 20 grand).
Russian/Caribbean, what a combination! I love it. She did a good job presenting both sides with the entertainment. One of my Austrian/Jewish nieces married a Jamaican. She says the children are Jewmaican. And yes, they are gorgeous.
Omg! What the heck is a "Elegant Barbecue"? 😅 it's like saying I want to send my kids to a Dangerous Daycare! Lol WTF
I actually liked grandma's dress, it's giving me labyrinth vibes, I would have gotten rid of the sleeves and updated it to look s little more modern and it would have been so lovely.
She wasn't in a movie. When you start ripping up luxury fabrics like that, you have to find fabrics to match, not always easy, especially if there is a time crunch or you don't have a seamstress with those skills.
That first wedding dress was from the 80’s
The vows they exchanged put tears in my eyes. Simply beautiful.
Lovely wedding...the extra spent was WELL WORTH it! Compliments to your wedding planner, she was really fantastic! :)
She's a Blast I'd of Ran away from Grans Dress too 😂 seriously though she is like a ninja or secret squirrel sneaking in everything without telling him 😂💜🎉🎊💜
To me that was really disrespectful. She has no idea how to budget, spends money well over the agreed amount and doesn't even include her fiance. Surprised he didn't walk away.
This wedding planner was horrible. Everything the bride wants like $70 bottle vodka was encouraged. And the steel pan band. But no hotdog truck (which was a great compromise from the groom) at a cheaper price. She even got the Russian dancers. Poor guy didn't get anything he wanted.
so if the Russian wedding guests are having $1700 worth of high class vodka, are the Caribbean guests having $1700 worth of top shelf rum ? … fair’s fair!
CLAYTON CHILDREN COST MONEY TOO, MORE MORE THAN THE COST OF A WEDDING. MAYBE MARRIAGE IS NOT AN OPTION FOR YOU.
30k and the first thing I notice only 1:39 in the video is plastic lawn chairs at the ceremony 😫 already seems to me like this bride just spent money and spent it in all the wrong areas… I could NEVER have lawn chairs at my ceremony but I guess that’s just me 🤷🏻♀️.
Same here, actually. It made the whole ceremony look cheap.
doesn't want a tiara wants something classy, but wants a hot dog truck and picnic tables
My daughter and son in law had four tables of food at their wedding - if you couldn’t find something you liked, your problem, but there were a lot of kids with their own buffet. Mac &cheese, tater tots, meatballs, a popcorn machine and a hot dog roller! I saw a lot of adults with those franks, including me.
I'm with him, tiaras are tacky, like little girl beauty pageants!
Tiaras were pretty much the style at the time of the recording. I think they look tacky too but I don't like when the fiance tries to tell the bride how he wants her to dress for the wedding. Something about that really irks me!
Lol that’s Rusie for you
@@cherylanne6549 I wonder how he'd feel if she actually walked down the aisle in grandma's tacky dress
Oh dear Lord, that DRESS!! Is Grandma BLIND?? That is the most hideous dress I've ever seen in my Life!! And $2500 for a wedding dress is probably under the average, so she really wasn't being a "princess" about that at ALL. Would YOU wear that glorified doily that Granny sent? I wouldn't!!😅🤣😂
When Clayton said he wants guys with apron , I was thinking he was joking like the guys just wearing the aprons only.
Me and my husband paid about $40,000 for our wedding about 5 years ago. I could not imagine what it would cost us today for the same wedding. This couple had their heads in the clouds. That wedding dress from grandma is hideous I could not imagine having to wear that.
Grandmothers dress would be gorgeous with just the sleeves changed.
bruh the lady is clearly on the brides side and thats messed up. They can pay 800 for dancers but not 500 for an amazing food truck!?
Wedding planner said no to the food truck cause it wouldn’t match wedding. Bride wanted a classy wedding.
If I ever act like this during my wedding week 😂😂😂😂 I reminded my family to slap me cause this bride needs to get slept
Thete are some serious red flags when you differ so much. And think its ok to keep secrets
It was a beautiful wedding.
Ok but I actually cackled when the grandma dress was brought out.
$7,000 for a couple shoes!!! This lady doesn't really understand money!!!
Id rather spend funds on a home than a one day event
Can’t agree with you more. The amount people spend on a wedding would be better being spent as a down payment on a house. A wedding is only 1 day a house can be forever.
The bride wants everything her way. She said NO to everything the groom wanted.
The groom is a jerk.
@@citytrees1752
Why
@@citytrees1752 i agree
Amazon & eBay have beautiful tiaras for less than $25!
The fact that they are hiding things as serious as finances doesn't start the marriage off well. I didn't see anything wrong with grandmas dress, just be nice and wear it for 1 picture then take it off.
He is so weird.. Wonder if they're still married.. They disagree with almost everything
When I was married to my first ( I thought ONLY husband forever.) My Mom told me who she hired for the reception and I chose my colors, etc from their stock. Mom changed the punch up to sherbet ( frappe') a family tradition, and cookies of choice went with the price. We chose fabrics and a pattern for my gown and our friend made it. Mom and Dad hired a small family orchstra and it was the best reception for years to come. ( People KEPT coming for hours, we didn't even have time to dance-once, and we were ballroom dancers.) I was happy with everything, I think everything was around a $1,000.00 and I felt blessed.
The grooms family paid for a dinner at their church, (maybe people also brought things, I don't remember.) I was too nervous to eat, sure with I could have it was good food!
I can't believe how this girl is ignoring the groom on everything. Her ideas have really made her a spoiled brat. Good by happy marriage.
How many years did Grandma serve in fashion jail for hideous wedding dress. Talk about a crime.
Wow an outdoor barbecue wedding does sound good for a wedding especially during the spring time and Alot of stuff that's nice
They were smashed at the end, lol. Grandma's dress was hideous.
It was! She could have used that material to make a new one the way she would like
I am not an American, so will you please explain to me....
I am confused, why do Americans have to buy a wedding dress for a great amount of money, while we can always get a bargain/secondhand dress with still in the best quality? Wedding is precious moment but it only lasts one day, and we can always get a stunning dress inexpensively. What the importance is to use the money wisely for better investments to secure the life after wedding, right?
the feeling of having smth new
I don’t think that this is just an American issue, I’ve seen many British brides, spend £2 - 3,000 or more on a dress.
I am American; I do not understand it either! Lovely wedding, however anything over $3-5000 is too much for entire wedding!
They are Canadian not American
Not ne to be American really 😂 they just like apparence like in movies
I .I've in UK for 13 years and they are lots spending lots money despite they don't have for anything, either kids and so ridiculous as here is business country they are missing 😂 everything
The bride keeps mentioning he's Caribbean. How does she not know his nationality?!!!! The Caribbean is an archipelago of different islands and nations!!!! I'm guessing he is from the dual island nation of Trinidad and Tobago considering they went with steel pan and he may be Hindu but not strongly tied to his religion given that he was wearing a wristband from that religion but there is no mention of a Hindu or part Hindu wedding & a wedding is a major life event. I won't say marriage because their vows appear to be the last thing on their minds, if at all. There is a major difference between a marriage and a wedding. They're celebrating a Wedding, not Marriage.
We had an actual BBQ (WOOD FIRE) for our reception. Everybody loved it!
Groom was wasted at the end. So much for wedding night
I like the truck idea for the barbecue wedding late night buffet .
Barbecue with linen table covers and napkins and good China and silverware is just crazy.
Okay, some marriage red flags I see so far... The fact that she set no budget for her new dress and decided not to tell her fiancé about it. HUGE red flag. And, the fact that she wasn't willing to compromise for him for what he wanted... the BBQ chef. But yet, she expects him to compromise for her??? RED FLAG
I paused the video right after she got her dress, so, there may be more red flags I haven't seen yet.. But this is what I saw so far.
If the mother wanted all of the expensive vodka, why didn't she pay for it? Why didn't the bride worry about her future husband's money?
Actually if you cut the sleeves off the dress and the puffy stuff at the waist it might not look so bad. I’d take a free dress any time and use my creativity to turn it into something truly unique.
I'm not surprised to know some of these couples are still together to this day even if the bride/groom seems to be a nightmare to deal with. Not everything is like what we see on camera, they actually tend to exaggerate a lot to create drama for the viewers to hook up on the show. Personally, I think it's a bit sad cuz some people end up getting a lot of hate (see Kate from that Extreme Cheapskates show) when it may not really be their fault. I'm not saying none of this is even a tad real, but that's something to consider.
Or they choose the couples because they can see from their temperaments that they will make for an exciting show.
Would like to know who stays married and divorce after 1 year lol
32 and still got plastic chairs
This is such a fake show.
More like gourmet or bride zillas
Very beautiful!!! What they spent wasn't bad at all
If they said after a couple of shots nobody would be able to tell which vodka it is, why not buy the expensive bottles to be served first and then to be followed by less expensive ones? it would cut the cost....
The groom and his posse were sweet
Those weddings are just...for the wedding of the dream.
That dress could have been restyled. The sleeves would go or at least unpoofed. The arm rests would also be deflated. Pat
I didn’t like his attitude about the tiara. It’s none of his business if his bride wants to wear one. I find it very controlling behaviour.
These people have to be receiving gifts of money from their guests ..
Loved the planner...
Omgggggg there is literally no such thing as an "elegant barbeque" like wtf and how confusing of a concept. What she really wants is an elegant outdoor wedding on a barbeque budget.
There is literally no reason to add almost $2,000 on alcohol if alcohol is already in their package. If the mom wanted that vodka so bad she should have paid the extra $2000.They guests are going to get drunk for free no matter what. They should have compromised and gotten just a few bottles of the expensive vodka and had like 1 shot for each guest with the table number cards or on the tables for the toast or something like that.
Also keeping thousands of dollars worth of unnecessary "surprises" from your groom who is probably the one that is paying for said "surprises" is just wrong.
Him getting ready for his wedding felt like “any other day” wow what a keeper ,not !
I hope she doesn't keep any more "surprises" aka secrets from her now husband.
Everything Bridezillas ever wanted. 😍❤
He's an impossible cheapskate. Call off the wedding! 😂
Everything was BEAUTIFUL ❤️..and by the way..she and her mama look like sisters!
What was Grandma thinking? 😂😂😂
That dress from grandma was sweet but really ugly. The secrets would make me rethink this marriage.
Oh wow! She is incredibly spoiled, I wonder if she is a ghastly as they portrayed her? He needs to grow a set!! They are going to be broke forever.
this was the most reasonable bride on the series , not spoiled
@@natashakuzmanoska9656 No, she wasn't. Are you a relative?
I love the beautiful wedding dress.
$32,000 for that wedding 🤣
I think grandmas dress was the bomb. Get rid of those princess Diana's balloon sleeves, add a modern neckline and a few tuck and alterations here and there and THATS THE DRESS THE MATERIAL OF THAT DRESS IS FAR BETTER THAN ANY DRESS YOU CAN FIND TODAY. THE LOVE (FAMILY LOVE) is priceless. Nobody even thought of those things, instead she broke the bank with that wedding dress she. Paid top dollar for. Foolish girl, but it's her day. When it can down to my wedding dress, I looked through bridal magazines, fell in love with the dress one of Nixon's daughters got married in, tore out the picture took it to a wedding dressmaker and she made it for me for 400.00$. I'd never pay 8,000 for any dress, call me cheap, or u american, with a seamstress or dressmaker who knows what she or he is doing can make you a custom dress taylored to your style, without breaking any bank.
Why does ' behaving like a Princess' mean behaving like a spoiled brat in the US? Is this why the nightmare markle screwed up so spectacularly?
Poor grandmother 😔 could have been more diplomatic.
Cutest couple!!😍😍
