- Shop with me in an Australian grocery store. I share prices and give a glimpse into the layout and atmosphere of grocery shopping at my local supermarket. Bare with me - next time I'll take someone along so that I can focus a bit more on filming. This should give a good idea of what a fill-in haul looks like for us as a family of 13 who otherwise shop fortnightly. On this particular trip, I also get some last minute party supplies for my daughters birthday.

I can't see how you'll get better, because this was so well done. 😀 Note: If filming while shopping becomes too much of a challenge, a grocery haul at the end wth prices is still super-fun to watch. 🙂

I’m so relieved it showed up all right - this one involved so much editing, as I just had snippets of pretty rough footage 😂 Next time, I’ll take someone with me and take a bit more time to show things better. For my big 2-week shops, I’ll continue to show things at home, as I shop online for that. Fill-in shops are manageable to film in-store though, so I’ll continue to do so as much as is practical.

Great shopping trip Liana. I love seeing this - so many things I see then I say "I wish they had that here in the US". I love arrowroot biscuits - you probably bought them for the little ones - but I'm sure adults like them too. Had them all the time in Canada - very hard to get in the US. Must be a British Commonwealth thing. :)
Thank you! I’m hoping that next time I film in the supermarket, I can take a bit more time to get better footage. This one required a *lot* of editing - I was surprised I got usable footage 😂 The milk arrowroot biscuits I purchased to make the base of a lemon slice. I’ve still got two packets in the pantry, which I’ll probably use in future to make choc coconut balls. However, I do sometimes purchase them just to eat as is. They’re one of my faves, too….I love the simplicity - not too sweet!

I feel like we could be bf, i can relate to the things you say and sense of humor! 😂 I do coles on line shop and a few top ups at aldi and woolies. Love me a grocery delivery.
Love that! ❤️ Goodness, yes - give me an online shop any day! Before I started going to Costco again recently, I would split my grocery shop between Woolworths and Coles to get the best deals from both (and - because it was a two week shop for many, I would still get free delivery for both). Love Aldi, too! Have a great Sunday!

Prices have certainly gone up worldwide. However, it’s all relative to where one lives, also (taking into account the exchange rate, for instance). Sorry, I don’t know where you’re writing from, but (for example), an American would only have to hand over $6ish to get roughly $10AU. The Canadian dollar is just about on par with the Australian dollar. The English pound is worth about $2 Australian. So depending on where one is watching from, it may seem more expensive than it is. 🙂
