He had multiple substances in his blood. It wasn't because of "trauma". It was because he was abusing multiple drugs at the same time... Its DRUG ADDICTION!!! No other way about it. Trying to excuse it because of PTSD is ridiculous.
I wish he would’ve asked for help. Please, if you see anyone struggling, please help them. We can’t keep losing good peoples to these horrible diseases. Depression is real. Addiction is real. If anyone is struggling, please ask for help 😢🥺

My Heart goes out to his family and the Department, just as with LEOs and Vets I don't think the average person working at a Desk understand the Trauma that these men and women deal with. Addiction is sometimes that attempt to not lose your mental faculties because you clearly know that people need you more than you feel you need yourself. These are not average jobs they are jobs where you one moment see the best in humanity and the very next the worst.. Just remember although it is Harder to ask for Help for yourself it is better to ask for it for your family and those who depend on you.. RIP,

People with physical jobs often end up with pain meds after on the job injuries. They get hooked on the pain meds then they are on a slippery path. AZ is not supportive of professionals who need help with substance addiction. They will convict and ruin them before getting them help and saving their jobs and families.

I think the better takeaway here is you never know how much someone is suffering, regardless of their job title. Check on your loved ones, ask them if they're doing okay and step in if you think something is wrong. Making the assumption this man "preached" about drug use in response to his death is, well, pretty cold hearted and ignorant. Hopefully you can get help for whatever issues you have that make you make statements like this.
