Not sure if you guys heard, but they also got Thobbe back after Tommy's departure. Thobbe was there for Heroes and The Last Stand. You are right about Par and Joakim being the only original members. The rest of the band left sometime I think before the Carolus Rex recording in 2012. Par talks about it in one of the Sabaton History videos.
Also, I'm glad you talked about the sound a bit. This is probably their heaviest album, and I love it to death.

That canadian guy that snuck into the German trenches, stabbing them and taking souvenirs, Pehgamagabow (or something), they already made a song about him: Ghost in the Trenches, on The Great War.
As a swede, i want a new Carolus Rex! There's so much swedish history left for them to write about.
There is another Sabaton song about Berlin fall but from another angle : Hearts of Iron
If I recall correctly the Heroes album was originally supposed to be a dual album with Heroes / Villains, but the production company shot the idea down - funny that you had the same idea :D

That was the firsr video ever? I thought it was primo victoria, because it was their very first song and very first single... from the debut album.. anyways... it's a great song that makes me think automatically of "wishmaster" it has a similar structure.
I've heard they wouldn't do it but.. it would be cool an album about movies like Rambo, missing in action, commando, etc..
Primo Victoria didn't have a music video for probably 10 years after release, the video everyone was reacting to first was a fan made video with clips from saving private ryan
This song is just primo victoria 100%. Their first album came outta nowhere and it kicked ass, then the rode the coat tails of it to hard and literally opened the second album with the exact same song.
