My mom is Japanese and she and I always drank "yakuruto" as a kid. Once she wrote "yogult" on the shopping list instead of "yogurt", because yakuruto and yoguruto are spelled nearly the same in Japanese lol

I thought it was that liquid that separates from product, accumulating on top of either yogurt, sour cream or cottage cheese after it’s been opened. Curd juice or it’s “sweat” I guess you would call it?

I know this is beneficial, because some time ago when my bowel is not feeling right then thank to this bottle of yakult and my stomach feels good again. I might consume this more often then.
All my life I wanted to know what this savory drink contained little did I know this is actually healthy. You know I will have 20+ trips to my fridge for these things. I thought this was hispanic but I am extremely happy that this is originated from Japan. Makes me want to visit it more. More people should know about this. Thank you Yakiult for making me healthier without me knowing. 😊

Beautiful video! Bravo to the ad agency creatives that created this! Yakult is a childhood drink, feel nostalgic every time I see it in the supermarket so decided to pick it up today, googled it and found this video which changed my entire outlook on this simple small beverage that I used to drink as a child. I like how Yakult didn't change the look and packaging and I can still recognize it as I did before (hard to come by these days) :)
additionally, taking dietary fiber is very good to feed good bacteria in gut. good bacteria produce Vitamin B-3, 6, 9 which are necessary chemicals to convert tryptophan into serotonin in brain and also in gut. serotonin is very very important for health of body and also mental health.
if you eat Natto 納豆, fermented soy beans, it will boost number of good bacteria in gut.
I would drink this as a kid when I would visit my grandparents in Mexico. I wonder why it's not popular here in the USA

I try to only drink one or two of these a day. I only just began the yakult journey so im excited to reap the benefits. I've watched several videos and saw where it can take up to twelve weeks to notices effects of the probiotics. Hopefully it is worth it 🙏 🙏 🙏
