Hi, need your assistance. I upgraded a 2013 f150 4” screen to sync 8” 3.4 version. After installing the system. Sync voice commands stopped working. Also want to enable on the APIM the following: EQ controls, climate controls and back up camera.

hello I have a problem with my module, I get the Ford emblem and then a black screen, I removed the battery for a few minutes, I reset Syng with diagnostics and again a black screen, the radio works, but I can't adjust the frequencies, the disc is inside and I can't get it in, but it reads it and my music plays did they have any way to flash the module and what the flashing is done with

My volume is stuck on zero. It won’t go up nor down the visual part works(navigation? Channel change etc) any idea what it might be ?

Hello, I have a 2018 Ford F150 when I bought it it was on sync 4 . Some radio features are not working. The volume is not displayed and the sound adjustments are grayed out and on full treble, mid and bass any ideas as what might be the issue thanks
Sync 4 isn't compatible with older Audio Control modules unfortunately. It's a communication error between Sync 4 and the ACM

@@andee1270 you could downgrade to Sync 3 easily. You'd just need an APIM module and to repin pins 53 & 54 (you unpin these to get Sync 4 to boot)
I just checked actually I’m on 3.4. Do you know what I can do to fix the the volume in the sound control tabs the volume works and everything but it just doesn’t display how high I have the volume in the sound controller grade out or all the way to high you can change them. Thank you.
@@andee1270 sounds like you need some good old programming. Last owner probably did a 4" to 8" upgrade and never programmed it
Lol real nice to hide the actual coding ... rather you would want someone to pay the $60 for that programming
Sorry, but that's the way business works 🙂 The main reason is that the programming data comes with our harnesses, which is why we block it out. It's a reason for folks to buy harnesses from us, so we're not going to give it away for free. Sorry if that offends you 🙂
