We don't think Ste wants Southgate... Like this comment if you agree!
Please god NO, just NO! His style of football does not equate to anything any United fan wants at our great club. Yes I want a younger manager, to hopefully reign supreme for 10 to 15 years. My word not this guy!
Southgate would be an improvement on our current situation
I will comment - If Ashworth (who has worked with Southgate), thinks he is the best person to put a broken club back together - then who am I to disagree?
@@shadowside8433 exactly. Honestly there’s 4 or 5 coaches that I would want but we are not getting any of them. So what’s the difference if it’s 10hag, Tuchel or Southgate. They are all Mid and it can’t get any worse
@@christosjoseph7409 Thing is, we are bringing in Ashworth because of his judgement and experience.
If Southgate is such a bad idea, then what does this say about the fact we are paying millions to wrench Ashworth away from Newcastle?
Guys I’m so bored of the Southgate talk. Just stop it. It’s not happening. Not a single credible source has presented info that INEOS are even considering him. That Lawton piece was an opinion piece dressed up as “insider info”
Stephen Howson shouting for the 45th video about how Southgate is shite gets old eventually. Move on ffs
Listen there’s only one or two managers that I really want and we are not getting them.
Whilst I don’t want him Southgate would do a far better job then 10hag is doing
@@christosjoseph7409lost the plot. Southgate is horrible with England’s amazing team. Imagine him with this United team.
I think it's good that there was/is so much backlash against the various Southgate rumors. The Overlap had a whole segment about it and presented it as a good option. Ineos needs to know that the fans don't want that twat anywhere near United and will be against him day 1 if they make a wet noodle hire like that.
*than* not then @@christosjoseph7409
It's literally just a planted story that makes the final option they do go for seem 100x better cause 'at least it's not Southgate'. Oldest trick in the PR book that gets dished out. Also easy topic for folks who are super ten hag in to focus on.
Ground hog day. So depressingly familiar. We've seen it all before with Moyes, with Louis, with Jose, with Ole, and with Ralph. It's always the same outcome. Many of the same players, the same executives and the same owners throwing another manager under the bus. I keep hearing people saying "What have you seen in Ten Hag to suggest he should keep his job?". Errrr... last season? "United are the worst coached side in the Premier League". So explain last season? Did Ten Hag just forget how to be a football manager over the summer? What exactly is the evidence to suggest that changing the manager is going to change the outcome? There are so many factors I don't hear ANYBODY talking about. Like the fact we've got a new starting goalkeeper for the first time in 11 years. Does no-one remember the nightmare we had inbetween Schmeichel and Van Der Sar? Does no-one remember it took De Gea two years to settle in? De Gea to Onana is a HUGE transition. And he's dealing with a gazillion back fours in his first season? There's also been ENORMOUS upheaval going on with the ownership situation. Every non-playing staff member at the club unsure whether they're going to have a job from one week to the next. And then the playing staff. Ronaldo spitting the dummy. Sancho spitting the dummy. Rashford spitting the dummy. Henderson spitting the dummy. Dressing room leaks. The Greenwood scandal. The Anthony scandal. De Gea contract situation. A plague of injuries. But no, it's all down to the guy who was being praised for his brilliant, pragmatic, results focused management skills last season, who was being talked about as the guy to finally get Utd back competing. By the same ding dongs who are now calling for him to be sacked because he's not up to the job. People are useless. Short sighted, ignorant and useless. If they sack him, it's a clear sign that nothing is going to change under INEOS. If they sack him, we'll be waiting another 10 years to win the league. I hate football.
👏👏👏👏 Thank you. I've been saying the same thing for ages now.
you forgot to mention after the milk cup trophy we were shite. And how poor Liverpool Chelsea and spurs were last season. Selective memory buddy
@@ashleylovestennis6476 and your point is? We finished third in the league last season. So it's Ten Hag's fault Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs were poor? And we got to two domestic cup finals and the quarter final of the Europa. That was his first season. Fergie didn't win anything for 3 and a half years. And it took him 6 years to win the league. Selective memory. BUDDY.
@@ashleylovestennis6476 any reason why you're subscribed to the Anfield Agenda CZcams channel?
@@theepicfailwizard My point is last season was not the over achievement some think it was. The football was not good and even the way the draw worked out in the cups was fortunate, avoiding the better teams. Getting home draws etc. Still did not beat any top 9 team away.
The way we finished last season was a warning to what was to come this season. Now the worst in premier league history of the club. In my opinion all of his signings apart from Martinez have been poor. He had 7 of his signings against Crystal palace and it showed.
Due to his poor coaching and tactics he has managed to reduce the value of our players.
Antony 90 mill to maybe 20 mill
Hoyland 70 mill to maybe 30 mill
Casimiro 70 mill to maybe 30 mill
Wan Bissaka 50 mill to maybe 20 mill
Onana 50 mill to maybe 20 mill
Sancho 79 mill to maybe 30 mill
Rashford was valued at 100 mill maybe 50 mill
Bruno 60 mill maybe 40 mill
Thats over 300 million he has reduced off our players value. That is due to having no clue how to coach the team, how to set up the tactics, how to man manage the players.
It was easy for him in Holland where the league is piss weak and he was given all the best players.
In the Premier League he has been found out.
Managers of Bournemouth, brighton, Fulham Crystal palace, Burnley, Coventry and Nott Forest have not had the luxury of hundreds of millions of pounds worth of players but have still been able to at various times play tenhags team off the park. You get average players and coach them into a good team and then they look like top players. Tenhag has done the exact opposite.
Roy Keane had Phil Neville as a motivator. Surely a more appropriate question is “who motivates the motivator?”
Not everybody needs an external influence like that. Keane especially had self respect.
Glazers have ran the club into the ground. Woodward signed a billion worth of dross.
We need an entire new set of front of office staff. Maguire is too slow. Casemiro’s legs have gone. Greenwood, Ronaldo, Antony, Sancho Etc etc Yet Ten Hagg should be sacked? I genuinely don’t get it.
The club is rotten to the core and has been for a decade yet we need a new manager? He might prove to be not good enough but sacking him at this point is beyond pointless. It’ll achieve nothing.
Because, as bad as these players are, we see teams like Brighton, villa, Brentford, bournemouth and Palace play good football with players who clearly aren't as good.
Yeah but there are under different expectations and less pressure@@ushmush4074
@@ushmush4074that just isn’t true though is it… half of the palace or Brighton team start for us as things stand 😂😂😂
Edit* and the others!
@@ushmush4074 What? You have no clue about football
Nearly two decades, actually. The last decent signing the Glazers made was Michael Carrick
Need to get the ‘play like you mean it’ banner back out for these shocking players. Eth may or may not be the best manager for our club but we definitely need a player clear out this summer
100% agreed
Idgaf if he's "lost the dressing room". What united manager hasn't? Need driven hard working leaders in the team.
Lmao I’m sorry but I love that Joe says Ste has flipped his lid back and he immediately flips it back 😭😭😭
I watched the 99 final with a Gooner and a Spurs fan. Went from them trying to figure how to console me to all three of us hugging and jumping about with Champagne going everywhere. Great memories. 😅
I'm sure it was a lovely memory but that wasn't a real Arsenal fans if he was celebrating like that with you or consoling you for the loss you thought was coming, especially in '99, peak Wenger Vs Fergie era.
Probably was a Spurs fan though as the best they can hope for is to cheer someone else on who wins.
Not ashamed to say I was involved in a similar situation with the Liverpool come back in Istanbul, I know I hear your groans, but some moments overcome devision and you can do nothing but applaud. Football fan first and really can't wait for united to sort it out. Life and football goes in cycles, but its been really tough, never thought that these times were possible as a utd fan born in 88
@@Miceal.No mate, its called real "Friendship"!!
*Had utd lost, im sure, in time, his mates would have bantered him about it
Im sick off hearing unrest in the dressing room. So what manager do they want? The player power is unreal. Just let them manage themselves. Do you not feel we have been here before?
Yeah it's everytime 😂 just fuck the players off 90% of them.
“It’s got a bend in it” 😂😂😂😂😂
I've come to a realization, fan channels like the Paddock generate revenue from negativity. Nobody ever used to talk about managers losing the dressing room until the age of fan podcasts, apparently first whiff of trouble, we're always hearing dressing room, dressing room.
And Jay when you say things like "I want to see the manager here next year, BUT..." The "but" negates the previous sentence
Sancho has as many Bundesliga yellow cards as he does assists since his return to Dortmund (1). That paints the real picture.
He's too good for this utd team. He's an actual footballer with technique
@@neilthornton3544 But he's petulant and mentally not strong enough to deal with adversity. You can replace technique, but you can't substitute a weak mentality.
Played for three different managers at United and been shite under all of them. Seen him jump out of tackles not track back, can't remember him having a good game for United. He's spineless.
Shhh! Don't let this out till they pay the 60m.
@@coconutzmilk😂😅😂
Absolutely crackin this lads, grinning like a cat all the way through the 99 stories 😂
I was 8 in '99 watched the match in my living room. Greatest night of my life.
My mate missed both United goals because he had the shits. Wounded 😂
My tale is worse. I was watching in a pub in Joburg and had basically given up the ghost when Sheringham equalised. I was delirious, we're into extra time and me an some Indian bloke were hugging and dancing. We calmed down and realised that everyone else was also jumping up and down. I asked another what now? and he said we've won!! I said no man we're into extra time. He said no Ole just scored😰😰😰😖
Some of these players are putrid. You're gettin paid...do your fuc*ing job.
Are we hear again what’s this the 3rd or 4th time we have covered this subject .
Clearly still has players working hard for him (well done of them )
The 'coming up' section isn't needed, we are watching.
Probably for casual watchers who click randomly. A teaser of sorts for them.
Always hate those.
Don't like em but I guess you gotta keep the unpaid interns from uni busy innit
it’s for the auto player when you’re on the home page, increases engagement
Another ball bag who missed the England penalty was rashford of course
Yeah but we are not supposed to call him out like that? Did you not get the memo? He is apparently world class to some United fans.
Last time I looked rashford wasnt being linked with the head coach job
Aaaaand in the end, THE best football segment I’ve seen anywhere on the Internet. It’s likely the three of you are either at the premiere or close… Hope it’s everything and more.
Has Ten Hag Lost The Dressing Room? - No, No, No, look at the team he has had to pick from - SERIOUSLY wake up lads, we were shite when he came in. You lot act like it was fergie in charge before eric came in. No we've been through 2 world class managers(Mourinho and Van Gaal), a club hero Ole, Moyes and Rannick - the latter told everyone the truth 2 years ago. We are not that team anymore we need to build. For Once, let the manager build what he has in mind with his year left. just like the allowanace that arsenal, liverpool gave to there managers Artetea and Kloop and also fergie had 4 years. Also theres no managers out there that are stand out candidates, the last year we give eth, will give us time if it doesn't work out. I was there to watch every home game for 4 years when fergie came and it wasn't pretty. Stop mixing with the mainstream media , it reduces your honest opinion as you'll naturally tend towards what your "heros" think. these same heros didn't live under judgement of socia media when they played, its chalk and cheese. Yes players aren't the best on football opinion which is weird but the last few years have utterly proved it. The Media want to see us burn as it earns them money via clicks, we need to get rid of players that aren't up for it and give the manager a chance at a properly run club considering he's basically been running it after his first season after seeing what Murtough and Arnold can bring - nothing. Thats unfair, he has earned his stripes and had to deal with the crazy injury laided season Plus Ronaldo, Sancho, Antony Greeenwood and Rashford. No manager has that sort of presssure ever. Yest we are aomehow still high in the table and in an fa cup. Eric GHets to finals and i agree he needs to imporve in some of ghis decisions, but give him a chance man.
To what Jay was saying about them not putting an effort in, it's basically quitting. 'why should we try', 'why should you get paid ffs'. When you have to buy a contract that might open up a legal avenue to reclaim (some) transfer fee if you sack it off.
EtH is renowned for youth development and giving youth players a chance, something Utd are famous for or were, his style of play would suite the club if he had a fully fit squad (down to analysis and medical staff mostly) and players who want to play for the club and not themselves, he can do well here and I hope that the club give him time, and the players he needs, not necessarily wants! Sort out the back room shite which has hindered the club for a decade!
In an ideal world EtH is who you’d bring in now. Once the right people are brought in above and it’s a fresh start. Once the era of player power is over. EtH is too strict and driven for a team full of deadwood and viruses. Bringing in his own players was never going to achieve anything
Every time I listen to your podcast, I come away feeling inspired. Thank you for what you do!
What a good piece of expert journalism broadcasting by you 3. Ste is so bloody funny. Jay and joe always the sensible ones. Love it. Top work.
This was proper funny. Best laughs Ive had for years. Good job.
Does Ste’s Southgate rant qualify as abuse, or does that only apply to Rashford?
It definitely doesn't rate as a well thought out objective assessment of Southgates managerial skills. I mean he doesn't know whether f*ck is an adjective, noun, or verb. It can be all three, of course, but not in the same sentence!
What does an international team manager do if not build a squad? Southgates record as England manager is the the best since Alf Ramsey. I think, for what my opinion is worth, is that managing a national squad bears no comparison to managing a club team. In choosing a national team the manager has access to every qualifying player in the world, but he doesn't have them under his control or influence constantly. The club manager, of course, has a small (relatively) squad of which he has complete control and time to mould to his style.
If he lost the dressing room he’d already be sacked, why would they go into a final with a team that doesn’t want to play for the coach. Time to stop all this bollocks about Ten Hags job over and over.
It’s like they’ve turned into farmers with all this seed sowing! 🤨
@@jaysparrow6631did you see the players after palace all his singing talking about him he’s defo lost them
And there keeping him for cup final because to many of you are still backing him when the facts and stats and results this season and last season tell you he’s not good enough
@@willtallis5275was last season a fluke?!
We started badly and turned it around because ETH created a spine and that’s not down to bad management and with that start he had where was you expecting him to finish?!
@@jaysparrow6631 and how many times did we beat a top 9 team away from home how many times did we get battered still open your eyes
If we had got kane and dejong, we would probably be adding 2 more on the sick list for most of the season, ineos should change the medical staff asap.
Something definitely going on there with all the injuries as these players should be going through some sort of conditioning to know if certain players are available without repeated repercussions as it’s gone beyond stupidity this season.
Those two are world class players; they would never join a mid table banter club
@@addorsubtract650 Do you always miss the point when you reply to a comment?
@@davidtuer5825 and what is the point?
@@addorsubtract650 Whether or not those two "world class players" would have changed United's situation.
We should learn from the 'Arteta out' movement. We can't keep giving managers just two seasons.
Sacking Ten Hag will be setting us back years.
maybe if our goal was to get relegated.
Years? We are 8th. We’ve just gone backwards 40 years under ten hag.
Hahaha 😂😂😂
Was the 99 CL final during half term? It was a Weds (they weren't moved to the weekend until about 10 years ago) I was at Uni the next day. Wrecked.
Cheer up lads. In a couple of weeks you can do your predictions for next season and have Man Utd getting a top four finish and Arsenal coming eighth.
50:00 100% it was pure joy 🥲
This was off the brew
I dont really believe these "downing tools" stories. They dont make sense for the players for the reasons already said, but on top of that they feel like the transfer stories where united are signing 100 players every window.
It's very easy to roll out the downing tools line but most of the time it's as much about tactics as anything, if you ask players to play in a way that doesnt play to their strengths and perhaps even plays to their weaknesses then the players will look frustrated and like they CBA. He has us this season playing with no width, that's different to most of last season. This is highlighted by Antony, he favours narrowing the play, it's said it's because he has no right foot but he had played off the left a couple of times and guess what he does, he cuts in on his right foot. And this is how Radford has aldo played which all suggests it's an instruction. Not only does this instruction not fit Rashfords game, infact it plays to his weaknesses but it just compacts the play centrally forcing more pinpoint passes being needed to unlock teams. And the FBs who last season were either under or overlapping are doing much more of that stepping into cm positions than creating an overload to draw out defenders and allow space to be found. And again if we look at Antony, the single argument that his fans would make for him is his defensive work but that's not been on display this season as much, playing narrow creates space for opponents but he doesn't try and get back as much these days, he strolls back, as does others playing out wide which again making it seem like an instruction
It’s pretty clear the players are like this because of the culture of the club behind the scenes the things we don’t see.
They must be shaking in their boots at Ratcliffe because he’s clearly not having this.
Most of those players no they are finished at United
My thinking is always more aligned with Joe. He at least considers both sides of a discussion. BUT I love that Ste is an unadulterated fan who’ll just tell it like it is. In summary f*ck Southgate.
I’ve got no idea what to do now. I don’t really want him to go but eventually a manager just can’t stay - that’s the way it’s always been in football. Maybe we can do something different this time?
Ahhh yeah the boys are back in town
Has anyone asked would Tuchal be able to handle the same level of injuries, off pitch problems, change in ownership?
The new Chelsea owners couldn't wait to kick him out
There won’t be unrest from Onana Martinez Antony mount Garnacho Hojland Mainoo. There maybe unrest from the rest who got ole sacked so fuck term they’re being sold anyway.
Brilliant stories of memories of the 99 final - wish i was alive to see it
Ste channeling Harry Enfield's "Nohhhhh" character
I've paused on a good question from Joe about whether player unrest is true. I hope the answer is ineos have deliberately not backed ten hag publicly to weed out who shouldn't be wearing the shirt.
Probably too high risk. But I like it as an idea.
And you did answer to that effect 🙏🏻
EXACTLY!!!!
Results DO lie to you, Ste. 100% correct. Even last season when his reaults were good, the performances were shit. This season the results have just matched the performances more. Honestly the results still flatter to deceive, though. On strength of performances we should tickling relegation.
Ten Hag did not have a tactical vision at Ajax, Joe. Ajax had a tactical vision at Ajax. Ten Hag did nothing differently from a tactical point of view than their under 10s coach. Literally. What Ten Hag had at Ajax was a bloody fantastic squad that made an average manager look good.
Brilliant episode
EtH is clearly the mgr for us, if only we would actually give him the tools to do it.
Movie on players who shouldn't be here. Recruit players who can actually run together.
And recruit physios and .medical staff so that players don't break.
The glazers wouldn't let us sell players at a loss so we just lived with it. Stupid.
Lol, ahhhhh, fun times. Thinking about yet another full summer tour with the added factor of it impossible to get in enough players to make us more solid for next year.
In ten Hag we trust
Definitely need some 99 shenanigans 😂😂
The thumbnail has Ste in a bucket hat, it’s going to be a good podcast.
I am sticking with ETH, not for his achievements or potential turnaround in future, and absolutely not for proving myself right. It's for principle. Up until the end of this season, I can stomach collapse, high amount of shots faced, humiliating losses and ridicules by opposition fans, but I can not stomach the club sacking yet another manager for the 5th time after Sir Alex because the players would not or could not carry out the instructions they are told to do. He lost the dressing room? Get him the dressing room that he needs!
Still got no idea what Ste has against sparkling water hahaha. Love his rants about Southgate though
Where’s the link for the comp?
That Howson hat....😂
We don't need to sack the manager. 4 managers prove that. The harsh reality is, harsh because it is pretty much impossible, is that over half the players need to go. The players need to go before any talk on managers. They can't get away with throwing manager after manager under the bus, while cashing in and sciving off. We need to start again. Bring as many up from the youth team as poss. If there ready or not. Players go before manager
THANK YOU!
I love the people obsessed with talking tactics like it’s a science making words up to sound all scientific then ancelotti just makes a mockery of the whole exercise
INEOS don’t get to the level they’re at by operating on guy feelings and emotional reactions. They’re pragmatic and logical and it’s not hard to see the players aren’t doing the job. They aren’t going to pay EtH to leave while paying a new manager after the academy success under EtH. It’s all part of the project and fans have to do better after a poor result in a season of poor results.
In the scenario we get a result vs Arsenal, let alone Newcastle or the cup, and the narrative will shift again.
32:09 Steve unintentionally makes the case for keeping Ten Hag here.
Oh that made me laugh🤣 on Southgate 😂
Tuchel took PSG to a UCL final because the French cancelled completely their L1 during the covid pandemic which left PSG free to prepare for the final 8 for over 4 months.
Come on, the answer to is Tuchel better than Ten Hag is just "Yes.". Remember Ten Hag had only won the Eredivisie with Ajax, who are basically the Bayern in that league. He had a successful run in the CL, which surely is about time for them?
Can't put this on Ineos not coming in and backing Ten Hag immediately.
We had lost the same number of games we had won, negative goal difference, knocked out of europe in miserable fashion, knocked out of the league cup and playing awful football.
The only thing thats changed since they came in is we've had another 5 months of the same thing.
I haven’t had your Greene King sponsors Carling for a couple of decades I just bought some Carling because it’s on offer. Had I known it was part of knee dropping Greene King I would have left it on the shelf.
It used to be something to enjoy looking forward to but now there is just fear, the fear of the FA cup is growing.
We know Ashworth’s arrival is imminent.
We know Ashworth hires English so these are names I think he'll push for
1) Southgate
2) Howe
3) McKenna (though he’s Northern Irish)
4) Carrick
Thing is the eorld doesnt run on what ifs, the club doesnt fill anyone with confidence long term and he wasnt exactly filled with confidence with the signings he recieved or should i say lack of signings, my guess is his confidence has been depleted more and more as the season has gone on, players letting him down, injuries left right and centre, lack of disipline in certain players, media on his arse 24/7, online fans berating him dailey! Hardly the environent that promotes confidence in anyone frankly. Feel sorry for ten hag and feel hes been managing with one arm behind his back for karge parts
It might be that ETH himself decides if he's leaving. They might keep him if he is ready to be "just" a head coach and in-game manager. They might switch out the assistant managers and keep him. But he might not want that role.
He can’t coach anyway geting battered at palace and still didn’t change anything he’s crap
Question? Winners of the FA cup get europa league football next season. If the winning team have already qualified then the runner up get it. So either way we we have europa league football next season where every we finish in the league. Unless we fiinsh 4th but that's not going to happen.
I Reckon Big Jim is eyeing up Southgate as a door to Kane and other England players coming….I’m probably totally wrong 😎
Never agreed with ste so much like I did in the intro!
The dressing room has been lost for years :D We still have some players in there that can't even find their way on to the pitch :D
I personally think all this Gareth Southgate talk's a potential smokescreen for Graham Potter, he's worked with Dan Ashworth before at Brighton and they performed well together. I do think we'll be going more down the English personnel route too...they might even be delaying the announcement til Ashworth's signed on the dotted............................ line.
There is something else that people haven't thought of. VAR, I'm not going on about how many times it's gone against us, that goes without saying. More though its the mental affect it has on the minds of players. With each time there is a poor outcome in this season it has to play on the players. If you watch the games back after these decisions their body language is deflated. It's like here we go again for them. It shouldn't do, if anything it ought to fire them up. It hasn't though, it's a factor that does IMO change the attitude
No the truth is that half the dressing room has lost the manager. How many times are the fans channels going to get a manager sacked in his second season. Can’t you spot the pattern yet ??? Patience is the key and back the manager and let him change the culture and get rid of the players who continue to down tools when they don’t fancy it.
Fergie used to say “express yourself, have the courage to believe and trust your ability…”
50 percent of player's wages must be in a win or draw bonus not goal-scoring or defending
A special ...2 tickets to the cup final!!!!!! That sounds like a punishment not a prize
I would love to feel confident but........
I appreciate the content, but one suggestion for improvement, could you stop banging the table? Or get some mic stands that aren't on the table.
Genuinely baffled why people actually want him to stay on as manager. We've played shit football all season, even the last 3 months of last season. We have no style of play, we see 0 repeated patterns. Clueless in game management and a reluctance to make a change this season.
I am fully done with ten hag. Imo the club is just too big for him. He looks like he's crumbled under the pressure
This gets a like from me just on the intro 😂😂😂
The forget him’ do it for us attitude means you do well but you keep the toxic line manager and they take credit for your success and still get to freeze you out
Begging/Bidding for Southgate is crazy
Ste went scorched earth on Southgate
Players care to play for the manager, also don't care play for the fans.
I can see Tommy T going to Liverfool and smashing a prem title or two & United being lumbered with the waist coat.
The players need holding accountable for all of this they can’t be immune to criticism and they can’t just be aloud to get away with getting another manager sacked ETH needs to be backed and if the players who don’t have the balls to be here then get them out and get players who the quality and most importantly the mentality to be at this football club
Do you think that Manchester City and Liverpool had Southgate had them in their shortlist?
How come nobody is laughing at Harry Kane? Went to win a title? I think it's hysterical 🤣 😂 😆 😭 😅
Ten Hag's style demands a high level of basic technical ability at every post.
Guy's, it's time to get the mic's off of the table or stop banging on it.
Have a day off
Anyone with Real or Bayern's blueprint in terms of player management?? we need a copy
This channel is like liverpool in the 90s - talking about past glory because the present is more dead than a Weekend at Bernie's
Start recruiting on character and that means being very wary of large transfer fees for teenage talent - they are not fully cooked yet on maturity and are risky investment
If Southgate wants to coach Manchester United, you gots to say NO!
Don't worry lads Utd are finishing in the top 4 and finishing 2nd no?
I think the team should have to sit in front of a room of fans every now and then to answer our questions, so we can keep them accountable. Also bring Keane back as an assistant, players need to fear the managers. You can't tell me City players don't fear Pep, he pulls them up all the time, they definitely are afraid of his hair dryer treatment.
Bottom line is its not which problem is the lesser of the evills. It's GET ALL THE PROBLEMS OUT!
That includes: ETH, Bad players, poor culture, Poor recruitment, poor infrastructure etc.
Big clubs tackle all problems or try to so that they can stay great!
If ancellotti didnt win the league and was knocked out last night, he would have been fired.. if ETH reached a Champions league semi final and lost everything else this fan base would have wanted him to stay for 5 years.
If you want to be great make the decisions that lead to it
