They're naturally anti-social and don't seem interested in traditional family bonds (even compared to other gods), but they take it to a point that they seem to be missing out having a positive relationship. Like Nyx probably isnât looking for Chaos to be a parent, but the distance was so great that their relationship broke down.
I suppose because they're seperated when they reached certain age to fulfill their "roles". Nemesis and Eris covers the surface, Moros is placed with the three fates in some void or something, Charon hang mostly around the river Styx of underworld -, only Hypnos and Than who frequently encounter and position at same place(and possibly growing together), but again Than hang out more on surface to delivers mortal than hangout with Hypnos. Some of their roles have contradictory believes to one another (exp Moros stating Nemesis shouldn't decide what best for mortal as Fates have a say to it (also point Nemesis being retribution) so they a bit disagree on that matters. Eris is eris. They never like in one place,so they never know each other better and very defensive of their believes. Family dinner be crazy if they ever had one

Because when you birth Death, the god that technically has domain in the underworld and is one of the most fundamental aspects of being, which dictates the jobs of literally every other sibling that is in the game. You get special treatment
Letâs see Charon is close with Hypnos and Thanatos , Hypnos is most likely keeping the other titans asleep , and Thanatos most likely got captured . His sisters the fates are the main target of Cronos .most of his other siblings were off doing whatever and never even tried at least the fates have an excuse ? Even then they probably around more Nyxâs other kids ! Canât even blame him I would act the same way .
Most of his brothers are a kind of afraid of him or too respectfull of him. Here nemesis shows she gives charon room in her own way. In the previous game, than and nyx mention something similar. He might be among the oldest of the family.
Man the Nyx children seem to have an even more dysfunctional family unit than even the Hades had in the 1st game.

Charon is honestly my favorite character in these games. He's just a guy working a boring job, but never complains about it. Very respectable fella.

Considering they're born with jobs already and only meet up when things are wrong, I'm not surprised that they associate meeting with bad feelings
