Nick reminded me of years ago when I took my 3 year old to the Vancouver Aquarium. She kept looking at all the fish and saying, “Holy Cow.” It wasn’t even an expression we used, so it cracked me up. Fish on Buddy.

My Dad was a Great fishermen, he'd catch fish when no one else around was. He loved fishing on a rock dam in the Mississippi in Iowa when we'd go there to visit family. He would sein a creek and get what he called chub minnows up to about 4" long. He'd fish the spillway in the middle and catch enormous cats-I think channel cats up to about 30+#. I enjoy your vids, Thanks!
Is it just me or do you respect nick so much more now that u saw him picking up trash. I imagine him doing this every video but what makes him great is that he doesn’t post it is the video bc he is not doing it for the video he is doing it for the world. Keep it up nick and stay safe. 😀

I'm loving the new intro songs as of late. They set the mood in such a way that we can tell you're about to catch some spillway monsters and then after that, you're going to confront the head of the local mafia and "talk him down". Seriously though, thanks for the great content! Watching your vids gets me psyched to go catch some monsters at the lake; I caught my first blue catfish (10 lbs) a couple weeks ago!
Im new to the channel and this whole spillway thing is so new to me. I live in Florida so I'm so use to going deep sea fishing or dock fishing. Love your vids though!

A few years back on a 3 day holiday weekend here in NM USA, we had set up bank fishing close mirror to yours, running out of worms, walked about 10 feet to 4X4 to get worms, gentle giant game & fish $50.00 ticket, leaving pole unattended, hmm no fish caught that day, bummer, bummer, great video, THANKS!

Rivers in Minnesota are very low also. Unless something happens with the rain we are going to have extremely low water levels. I'm waiting for one river to start pooling up, that will be unheard of and a great day for fishing.

Those Pflueger reels are so nice for the money. They're so well balanced, smooth, and they're fairly cheap. I have a 500 sized Pflueger for my ultralight and a 2500 for my medium action. I've caught some nice sized smallmouth on the 2500 with absolutely NO problems.
These vids never get old, and they never will. You just never know what is in a spillway. Keep it up dude.
