quite a lot of games are censored in japan if they have gore, and most of the other resident evil games are more censored in japan than in the west
@@greenwood142 Interesting. You always hear about games being censored in the US for sexual content, or religious imagery though not as much as in the past. Or censorship in Australia for pretty much any excuse at all. So I kinda has the impression that Japan was pretty much "anything goes."
Z Version is the uncensored version. Well uncensored by JP standards.
I saw a Hololive clip of RE7 where Jack saws Lucas' hand off with a knife yet his hand is still attached afterwards. Also in RE8 you see an explosion when you get a crit headshot on lycans yet the head is still there.
