Somehow I end up getting too focused on Leonine's moves. I heard Elden Ring did use several recycled assets, but man that's unexpected. Not entirely Gael's moveset, just one or two attacks, but it kinda looked natural for that kind of boss.

Unless I'm mistaken, you're trying to do a round-about comment basically boiling down to "git gud".
Comments like this for an obvious first timer are just not needed. Elitist comments don't actually make you look good, nor good at the game, especially when it would appear you're coming down on a newbie.
You should probably keep in mind that everyone's free to play the game how they want to, and don't need to reform to how you believe it should be played.
Like Okayu, this was my first from Software game as well, it takes time to learn mechanics of the game, and I still use my mimic as a crutch. (I'm bad at the game, /shrug, still enjoying it without "getting good").

did we watch the same video and play the same game? Cause I'm pretty sure she only used the jellyfish throughout the video, and the jellyfish does NO DAMAGE. All of the boss killing was player input. Your "git gud" remarks are not needed.
