- Shot this in London....Antonio was just starting to see Melanie Griffith I think...Stallone was doing real well....we a lll were..these were the good years!!! The film was Assassins....the actors got good reviews..the film did not...may have broken even at BEST..a rare misstep by the director and producer of this film

Had the privilege to watch this on cassette years ago, and what a legend of a film, that till this day I have not forgotten about. Such an amazing storyline, characters, and soundtrack too it, and it's extremely well done. As always Stallone movies are always legendary status. A film with action, emotion, and much more. Honestly underrated, and a must-watch. I don't want to spoil much but its worth it. Massive respect to Antonio as well. 12.25.19

i have the dvd ,this movie has alot of action and Antonio Banderas and Sylvester Stallone did a great job and Sylvester Stallone directed this great movie.

It was Richard Donner who directed. I liked the movie but Banderas character was ok but he kind of got old quick on how he kept saying I want to be number one all the way to the end. My favorite movie like this was the original Mechanic with Bronson and Jan Michael-Vincent. This movie was good but kind of clunky and I usually like Julianne Moore but in this she wasn't that great and Stallone was at his worst too. But it was worth going to see when I did.
The flick has aged well.

I think Assassins should of got an award for best film because it is an excellent movie. Julianne Moore was gorgeous looking aswell. The film wasn't too over the top and stupid, it was funny in parts, suspenseful and the action scenes were done superbly especially the part in the apartment when Banderas is blown out of the window by the explosion. The scenery is beautiful and the film is a long film but Assassins doesn't drag on too much. Overall a 10 out of 10 and good acting from Julianne Moore and Antonio Banderas but awful from Stallone. 😂

Stallone made many bad movies such as Judge Dredd, Daylight, Cliffhanger, Tango & Cash, Cobra, The Expendables, Escape Plan, The Specialist, D Tox, Rambo III, Rocky V.. Very few of his I actually like. Assassins is one of his I like.
Antonio Banderas was a good actor in Assassins... Assassins was an excellent film BUT Sylvester Stallone was awful in the movie.
Cobra is one of Stallone's worst films, the atmosphere of the film was depressing and it was too over the top, daft and cheesey. Assassins was miles better.
