iceland prices are going up so fast now a days
They go up faster than Iceland’s temperatures go down.
Yeah I agree 💯 percent Iceland it's not a cheap or bargain anymore it's expensive and everything is smaller
Pork Belly is an absolutely gorgeous piece of meat. It is meant to be fatty. The fattier the better. I prefer buying fresh which most supermarkets do and it's cheap enough
I barely go to Iceland now for what used to be one the cheapest now one of the most expensive shops
Blimey Keith, I get a decent large joint belly from morrisons for around 6.50..lovely and tender it is. Think as you cooked it from frozen, the moisture may be stopping the crackling crisping up as it should. Expensive though for such a small joint.
Looked ok. Fair price I thought. Would have done a few stuffing balls to go with it.
It’s a big yes from me , it looks absolutely delicious and presented very nice indeed
True gastronomy
I love crackling but we don't get much of it here in Canada but I do go to a local farm shop and they will give me hunks of skin to crisp up.Being English originally I love watching you cook and do things somewhat like my mom did.Back in the fifties there wasn't any predone all in meals. My mother went to town almost daily to pick up the groceries, no fridge, just a larder.
We lived in Winchester, such a beautiful old city and I will be there soon, crossing on the Queen Mary 2 in January, very excited. I love the Sunday lunches served at the pubs.Plenty of crackling and massive Yorkshire puddings, not to mention the roasted potatoes.
I wish I had a man to cook me dinner every evening fair play to you that looked lovely thumbs up from me
Looked great! Thanks for another idea for a meal!
Yum 😋
That looked great mate, delish.good work.happy Xmas have a good one
It's yes from me.Agree with others..Iceland prices getting high now.
Imo it's very expensive for what u get id say you can get better quality from the butchers saying that a great meal keith
We buy the pork, chicken and gammon 3 for a tenner only 500g ish but cook 2 together, and it's very nice.
Keith have you ever tried roasting broccoli? Absolutely delicious flavour with garlic seasoning and a drop of balsamic vinegar 😅😅🎉
Loving your channel hope you’re well
Looked nice keith. Well presented.
Great video Keith, it looks delicious
Should have put it under the grill at the end to get some bubbly crackling 👍
Merry Christmas Nat and Keith and family much love always ♥️ ❤️ when it comes ❤️ 🎉
excellent presentation 😊
Nat not coming on 2 videos in a row…..is she unwell?
Love pork belly, nice presentation Keith 😁
Looks great needs a shed load of apple sauce soon wallop that down
The reason the crackiling didn't work is probably the steam from the meat due to it being frozen.
Beautifully presented there Keith..😋..may give this a go..but as you say the butchers might be a better choice.. keep up the good work..👍x..hi Nat..💐x
Keith looked tasty presentation 10 don't think id be going to gordon ramsay restaurant portion size too small id still be hungry LOL love to both of you look forward to live stream ❤❤❤xxx
Your presentation was really good. I know you were having a laugh but actually you took the time to make it look better than usual.
Hi Keith wot about morrisons on there butchers maybe be even cheaper .also they have sometimes in the chiller already there and different prices on size
yes your right butchers all the way .....never frozen meat........nice one
Very posh Keith 😅. Like you said better going to the butchers 👍🏻had the same problem when I went to Morrisons. Have you tried Iceland mash potato 🤔🤔
The aluminium tin is the best! Aluminium is the best metal to conduct heat 👍
Silver that would be...
would the butchers version have any of the additives on it that the iceland one has. ?????.
with it being frozen and cooking from is the water content of the ice may stop it from becoming cracking
once cooked it does not look that big for the 6 people number
if you want posher mash you would finely cut some spring onions and add it in
since each piece is different in size and shape, the person who said it was fatty may have got a more fatty piece
would going to the butcher, then you can look and pick your own piece. but you can get sliced belly pork in Aldi etc for around £4 a pack
yep you would not may be get the cracking but really does that matter
Asda has belly pork for £6.98 a kilo from their just essentials range
I think Keith it would be better to get one from a local butcher even if a few pounds more to pay. But thanks for sharing iceland offering ...
Are you doing a turkey for Christmas Keith?
Apple 🍏 sauce needed
hour .45 may as well buy fresh . cheers mate
looks good but i think iceland sti;; do 3 joints for £10... far better value
Serves 4 too 6 that means 2 😂
'It's All In The Taste, Oh Yes' hahaha 😂 yummy my favourite, Pork Belly with Crackling and the fat absolutely delicious and Loved the Michelin Star touch you gave it Keith on the plate hahaha 🤣🤣🤣 you are so funny mate, you bring so much to cooking and with your De De De Deeeee's and your laughter who couldn't love you eh haha 😂😂 anyways that looked really really nice, crazy how expensive everything is getting though, and i hope Nat feels a lot better soon ❤ Catch you tomorrow on your Live hopefully and until then have yourselves a lovely night
You’re always better off going to the butchers full stop, the ingredients list would be as follows:- pork, and that is reason enough, plus you are supporting a family business and putting food on their table rather than money into a shareholders pocket.
That pork looks rubbish I went to the butchers for my Christmas meat I bout a tray with small chicken asmall gammon and pork joint for 11pound 99p a boned a rolled lamb leg leg chops gammon steaks and 2 lots of sausage and I got 2 thick pork chops I wish I had bought more thick pork chops cos they tasted so nice love fran
.
You 're a darn good cook kieth .
Pork tastes amazing when its cooked with sage.
Not alot of meat for the money, the crackling failed.. dont think i will be rushing out to buy that
Pork is the cheapest meat you can buy apart from chicken. Rather just go the butchers for it
Hi never had belly pork and don't want Eni 😅
yeah dont eat frog meat Sir
go fresh everytime.......not iceland frozen....please........
I can’t stand pork belly,I don’t like fat on anything, center cut pork chops for me,or tenderloin.Remember when pork belly was cheap, and food for people with limited funds, also spareribs were cheap, now the fine dining restaurants have made these items fashionable,so they are now expensive.Chicken wings have gone the same way.
Overall i will be honest dont think it's worth the money myself think its very expensive 🫰
