There is nothing better then firing up the grill on a mellow summer evening and spending time with the family. Many evenings are spent enjoying a backyard barbeque.
In honor of those nights we wanted to share with everyone Adam's way of detailing your Barbeque. As grease and char build up on the grill, there becomes a need to clean it and here at Adam's we always like to take it to the next level.

Wow, after doing all this cleaning and polishing I'm not sure I would want to use my grill again. Maybe keep this as my show grill and buy another grill to use as a beater grill!

I clean my grill using meguiars super degreaser (works great!), but never thought of polishing it haha.
So, how do the products hold up to the extreme heat of the grill when it’s being used?

Wow!!! I have all sorts of cleaning stuff for the car. I never thought of using it on my Genesis BBQ!! I'm gonna try these tips and I will use my air compressor to dry the interior gas tubes..cameon!!
I have 3 Weber grills , and your’s is looking nice 👍. I have a smoker , charcoal kettle and gas like yours. I keep all mine nice as well . When your kicking back grilling on the weekend having a beer it’s nice to see that your Weber is looking good .

I agree, My Boy. My daddy used to say, "Anything worth having is worth maintaining well." Words to live by.....at least they've always worked for me. I watched this video because we just got a new BBQ and I don't want it to deteriorate to the same state the last piece of poo had fallen......my sweet hubby wasn't raised the same way I was, so it's up to me to keep it clean. Once it gets out of hand I just can't face it. I think a quick cleaning every use will work better than waiting until one or two years, since I just don't have Adam's strength or energy. I'm going to look up his products, hoping they're not an arm and a leg. I especially need a degreaser, because 409 just ain't cuttin' it! Can you powerwash the inside even with the burners exposed? Wouldn't the water get inside the burner holes?

My Weber grill is now concours.
My bbq lid cover has heat scorch, how do i remove the heat scorch?
Douse it in gasoline and burn it. Make a sacrifice of it to the bbq gods. Then spray paint it with black high temp engine paint and sell it for 200.00. Make sure you deliver it and they don't know where you live. Once you get around the corner, floor it.

Most grills I see look like #$@&...inside and out. I clean my grill (same one but w/burners in front) several times a year but not to this extent. I must say yours looks great!

I love to use my grill and keep it clean, but I don't think compound and polish is good, long term, on porcelain enamel. It's very different, it's not car paint.

Old burger, old steak, old salmon? Aged meat is the best. Plus all the fat has been aged out and is healthier. No fat, no lubricity in your system. Seriously though, it makes my 17 year old Charbroil look like an old jalopy. I figure I've got another 4-5 years with it. I'm not about to use a clay bar on it.
For the price of all this cleaning crap, you could probably buy a whole new grill.
