I know, I’ve been dealing with autoimmune diseases since my 20’s , I have dealt with so many different endocrinologist’s for hashimotos, I could never find one , that knows anything!!! Long story short, I have always had chronic fatigue! And other symptoms. And I would say about a year or so ago, I became so sick, I learned that I have adrenal insufficiency! I was producing pretty much no cortisol, then i was sent for an MRI, they found a pituitary tumor. Ok then i get this horrific skin disorder, I would try asking the last endocrinologist if it had anything to do with what is going on with me already. Oh she didn’t like questions! Kept brushing me off ! Well guess what ! I was right ! Long story short- found an excellent immunologist, who took one look at me , knowing what i had ( since dermatologists, doctors) didn’t know what it was . I have severe type 3 angiodema, with uticara . Brought on by emotional stress . I would think it makes sense to put the puzzle together! If I don’t make cortisol , how will my body protect itself from stress? Yes i take hydrocortisone, but it does nothing for the skin! I am noted as “ treatment resistant “ means nothing worked on sending this particular flare into submission. I am now two medications ( injections) I have to give myself. Whenever I would try to Ask these questions to my last endocrinologist, she would brush me off!!! They are useless. So I have been suffering all these years, but this last one - the autoimmune angiodema-uticara, i also have mast cell degranulation, and mastiocytosis. Thank god for my immunologist.

I’ve been struggling since 2017, going to doctor twice a month and this past year I’ve been to the ER 6 times and no doctors would take me serious! I finally found a new doctor that found out in one appointment I do have an autoimmune disorder. They tell us not to be our own doctors, but what choice do we have, when they won’t listen or take us seriously? ❤

What is unfortunate is there are some providers who refuse to research these diseases and appropriately treat the patient. My daughter started having strange symptoms about five years ago almost started with the pain in her upper neck, right side side area then gradually this burning type pain radiates down her right side, wrapped around her chest sometimes and her pain is unbearable. She describes it as a constant pain and every day she has the pain some days are worse than others. I attribute that to the flareup that happened quite a bit. She said she’d rather die than deal with this type of disease she was diagnosed with anti-phospholipid syndrome, and she is only 23. APS is an auto immune disease that rarely has much data behind it. I was able to find a few articles, but when I took my daughter to the Mayo Clinic clinic, the provider was clueless and she told my daughter she was too young to have anything wrong with her and that was all in her head needless to say I was very upset about this as I felt that she was lazy and just did not care just to assume there’s nothing wrong because someone is 23 is

In addition her immune system, she catches colds very easily and gets sickly with upper respiratory problems. The respiratory problems are known to be associated with many auto immune diseases because obviously they’re system is not properly functioning. I see her in pain about 22 days out of 30 and this makes me so sad. I try to do everything I can for her I am a registered nurse and I try to help her as much as possible. Simple task like typing too long, holding her cell phone folding clothes can cause extreme pain and she said she wishes she was normal. My heart goes out to everyone that suffers from autoimmune disease. My prayers are with you and may God send us some caring educated providers.

Please check for toxic metals using a heavy metal provocation test with the chelating medium "DMPS". Also leaky gut syndrome/gut dysbiosis. Many alternative doctors agree that autoimmune diseases are almost always associated with the gut and that a lot can be achieved with the right diet along with detoxification. There are also many reports on how autoimmune diseases have been brought under control with a meat-only "lions diet". I think these are the approaches that offer the most hope. I myself have been suffering from a disease for about 12 years and for a long time I believed that nothing could be done about it because several doctors told me so. I only really became active about a year ago and my symptoms are now slowly improving. Just because conventional medicine is too outdated for most complex diseases of civilization doesn't mean that nothing can be done about it. Don't lose your hope!

Then I remember being tire and fatigue all the time and my parents thought I was during something illegal.😢 Of course this was in the mid 80s and thought nothing of it until now. Been an allergy sufferer of many different triggers with random inflammation and thought nothing of it. Life has been a mystery for me and many physicians.😢

@Vasanthi It is a chronic condition that lasts for your life time.Yet, there are 3 different types of lupus and the severity varies. I have the most severe one yet in this category I am not affected as much as other people who have even worse symptoms and need organ transplants. I don't and it's manageable. You only need to be careful. What are your symptoms? I usually have joint pains, fatigue and sometimes headaches when I spend too much time in the sun.

    • @Carolina3788
      @Carolina3788 Před 4 lety

@Vasanthi it is an autoimmune disease where your antibodies attack your healthy cells too because they cannot distinguish your cells from foreign ones like viruses or bacterias. There are 3 types.
The first one only affects your skin (you need to wear sunscreen and your skin is more sensitive and you can get rashes from the sun therefore you shouldn't be exposed to the sun directly from 11-4pm.)
The second one affects your bloodwork, which means you can tell through your blood that the antibodies are attacking healthy cells and you also get skin sensitivity always, joint pains, fatigue, sometimes headaches and rashes from the sun if you don't wear sunscreen (always 50+) and if you don't cover yourself and be careful with the sun between 11-4pm.
The third one is the most sereve one and the one I have.
Your bloodwork accuses these antibodies strains attacking your healthy cells, you have the skin sensitivity I mentioned above + joint pains, fatigue and sometimes headaches + more sensitive organs which can go into failure if you are not very careful and most people with these type need organ transplants, usually kidney or liver one. I have the best of the worse my doctors say. It's like I have all the aspects of the second type but without having organ problems.
Btw for the second and third type lupus gives you joint pains because of inflammation in the joints.
Sometimes because of this inflammation called flare up, doctors prescribe prednisone which is a corticoid that decreases your immune system, the inflammation too and makes you gain fat if taken in high dosages during a long period of time. Usually patients take it for some months or even half a year and then stop it if they're lucky. That's why you need to eat healthily and exercise to avoid even more inflammation and this drug.
The mandatory drug for the type two and three is called hydroxochloroquine which makes your antibodies stop attacking themselves yet not all of them yet it's what makes you not die in the third type.

The cure is fasting till the immune system resets. 14-42 days. Drink water.
Start with few day fast and work up to longer fast feeling your body.
Not doing anything during this time or very little. Support and supervision is recommended.
Meditation training and practice is also necessary. Qi gong . And holding the belief that doing the fast will cure you.
And then slowly reintroducing foods animal products are not recommended. Um less absolutely necessary.

I don’t know what school you went to, but we are all defined by our genes, T1D isn’t caused by how you think and if you believe it is then I think you might have some disease yourself. That’s like saying people with a dominant gene pool for a disease like polydactyl can cure themselves by thinking they can get rid of it! Stop being so insensitive.
