I use a probiotic daily to calm my gut issues that I had for 4 years. After seeing a few doctors, having tests run and being told that they couldn’t find anything wrong, I gave up and expected to live with IBS symptoms for the rest of my life. That was until 2 years ago, when I was hospitalized and diagnosed with ischemic colitis, and a secondary UTI. Upon release from the hospital, my doctor prescribed an antibiotic for the UTI and instructed me to take a good probiotic (Bio-K Plus+ 50 Billion) for a week. By the end of the week my gut issues disappeared, so I decided to continue taking them daily and have not had a single flareup since. I now can also eat some dairy without any discomfort. I swear by them. Such a simple solution for my problem. Wish I had known sooner.

You are the best dr who l have ever seen.
Please please please make more videos about gut health
I was under lots of pressure since 14 years ago and two or three times, l did destroy my stomach.
Since the last stress passed me three years ago, l have brain fog
I didn’t know what happen to me, l tried lots of Drs but nobody knows
As l watched your videos, then l decided to be a gluten free since last week, really really all the fogs go away and l am alive just one week. No anxiety, no shouting, clear minds
    Ohhhhhhh my god, that’s amazing.
But since one months ago l found l had some bloating, farting, pain in the stomach, heartburn or rearly l have diarrhea
So l decide to listen to this videos and other and eliminate some food like dairy, high fodmap foods for a while and let heal to my gut.
During this time l want to use some probiotics supplements and fermented foods like sour kraut to support my gut additionally
    Just my questions are
Is my plan true to follow?
How long is good to eleminate food 2,3 months?
    Can l eat gluten again?
Is there any hope to heal my gut and brain fog?
Unfortunately,As l live in Australia, Brisbane city so l can not attend your clinic
Thanks again my best Dr 😊

However as I try to get advice on social media, doctors have been pointing out that milk may cause inflammations. You can check Dr Chidi's presentations. I think you mentioned that the elemental diet has a similar effect as prednisone (=cortisone).
I know that prednisone has the power to end an acute autoimmune attack, which is accompanied by high fever. The prednisone effectively ends the fever.
I was wondering, whethter the elemental diet potentially also has the power to help in such acute situations?
Or is the elemental diet more for the long term improvement of the condition and not so much for acute situations?

    • @DrRuscioDC
      @DrRuscioDC  Před rokem +2

Hi Peter, the elemental diet is a great way to give your gut a rest and reset to allow your body to focus on healing, which can help with many symptoms. However, if you are experiencing a high fever, it is best and most safe to seek treatment and diagnosis from your doctor first.

@@DrRuscioDC hey, thanks I will check it out for sure. I have heard a clinic in Denver say it can be reversed with peptide therapy. They claim a certain peptide can lower the inflammation and get it down to zero. If you get it down they claim the thyroid function will return. The other thing I have heard of curing it is bone marrow transplant, because the body will be given a new immune system. Oxygen chambers are now being looked into for autoimmune as well as tapeworm therapy, yes you read that right.
I’m just wondering if a person has an autoimmune disease and if they always have leaky gut, if so if they fix their gut will the autoimmune disease go away? Such as thyroid, rosacea, dermatitis, etc. and would they be cured? It’s hard to get a clear answer on that.
