  • Sky's Enda Brady visits the village of Cholesbury in Buckinghamshire, where an annual Boxing Day hunt set off against a backdrop of jeers and cheers.
Hundreds of people turned out to support the Kimblewick Hunt, led by Andrew Sallis, but a vocal group of animal rights campaigners made their voices heard too.
Hunting foxes was banned in 2004, so instead the hounds follow a scent laid down with a rag - but activists allege this is simply a smokescreen and that animals are still being killed.

Ask any hunt member if there are any hounds in their pack over the age of six if they say there are they are lying. When the hounds get to the point where they start slowing down about age five or six ,they are not rehomed, they are shot .These people dont care a toss about animal welfare.

The same toffs will say whale hunting is bad - its exactly the same. There isn't room for compromise, these people have a weird obsession with it. On one hand they will say they need to hunt the foxes to control numbers then shortly after say they hardly catch any foxes...those statements completely contradict each other and just proves they want to do it to feel big.

Fox hunting kills cats too I know of two cats being killed by the dogs. Just recently the hunt master was taken to court and found guilty.

Nasty evil cruel . Enjoying seeing and hearing a beautiful innocent animal being ripped apart just for the sake of these disgusting selfish cowardly spoilt brats having fun . Should be ashamed

Rural life has nothing to do with fox hunting. I’ve lived rurally my entire life aswell As my family and non of us agree with it whatsoever it’s snobbish cruelty

Nigel giving a big shout-out for hunting. Despicable. Hunts have been filmed hunting foxes when they purport to be drag hunting. There is nothing to celebrate setting a pack of hounds, who can run for miles, against a defenseless terrified fox. "The unspeakable in pursuit of the uneatable" Oscar Wilde. It is a blood sport and there is no place in our society for such cruelty. If the Hunting fraternity what to dress up and ponce around in their hunting regalia on their beautiful horses so beit, but leave the wildlife alone.

If people saw what these animal abusers actions looked like they would be out there too. Respect for those fighting for animal rights. Unnecessary killing.

Only about 10% of countryside residents support hunting. Forelock touchers like kennel masters (who often shoot dogs at about half their life expectancy just because they are a little slow) and terrier men should be jailed for aiding and abetting crimes.
