    So I don't event need a Bluetooth version of the epson? As long the Ethernet cable is plug in to the modem, search printer in the ipad setting.. Because it's under the same network ipad via wireless will pick up the printer under search new printer setting and that's it?

      @Till-Man  Před 4 lety

      Yes that is correct. It must be a supported printer by posBoss though - just any ethernet printer wont work. I have tested with the Star TSP143iiiLAN and the Epson TMT82ii and TMT82iii, as these are the best value. There will be a list of supported ethernet network printers on the posBoss website.

    Hey Mate thank u for the Video, however can u tell me which is the 3rd cable u connected as i am not able to understand the 3rd wire connection and what is the name of that wire

    • @Till-Man
      @Till-Man  Před 3 lety

      The third wire on the video is a special power supply for Epson receipt printers.

    Is it possible to create custom receipts with this printer? With different fonts, adding a logo, additional text etc?

    • @Till-Man
      @Till-Man  Před rokem

      That would depend on the software that you are using. Most pos systems are limited to the receipt formats coded into the system.

    Very stupid question apologies - but what does the second cable plug into please? I have the ethernet into modem, power into power - what is the 'Kesterel cable' plugging into please?

      Do you mean the cash draw? The one which looks like a little phone plug goes to the cash draw.

    Hello does the posboss allow me to revieve my stock?

    • @Till-Man
      @Till-Man  Před 2 lety

      Do you mean receive? Most systems have a way to bring inventory in, usually either on an invoice entry or purchase order basis. As to how posBoss does it exactly, you would best to ask them. www.posbosshq.com I know a lot about hardware but all the systems have different ways of doing things when it comes to stock entry, stocktakes, and inventory management.

    Printer itself got the ip address..how to connect the printer thru same wifi with ipad?

    • @Till-Man
      @Till-Man  Před 3 lety

      You need to connect wifi to the same modem router that you have the printer plugged into with an ethernet cable

    • @Till-Man
      @Till-Man  Před 2 lety

      I dont think so. According to their help page they only support bluetooth printers. Have a look at the Star Bluetooth TSP143iiiB

    Why would you have a printer that you have to connect with a cable? Bluetooth ?

    • @Till-Man
      @Till-Man  Před 3 lety

      In my experience a wired connection is always more reliable than any wireless or bluetooth connection. Also if you are using multiple printers on an ipad for kitchen or barista docket printing, network printers might be required. Last time I tried, the ipad was only happy with one bluetooth printer.
