For all the people who own the x carry and specifically love the triggers.. You're welcome. I machined a SHIT LOAD of these and 100% checked and sorted them where I work. I genuinely enjoyed my job knowing what and who's part I was machining. Don't own a Sig handgun *yet* but I do have the sig romeo 3 on my AR at the 45° and I absolutely love it.

I just purchased the x-carry grip module and all parts transfer. It fits my Cook's kydex holster fine, although it's shaped differently and the sweat shield doesn't lay flat against it. Its pretty close though.
Regular p320 magazines DO NOT fit! The X-carry base plate is different. You'll need to grind down the plastic "steps" on the side of the plate to an angle. I purchased some online. Kind of a misfire on SIG's part imho.
*edit...my pistol was originally a p320 carry - full grip, compact slide.

I really like the x Carry grip look but when it came down for me choosing between the x Carry and compact I went with the compact because of consealability. I also didn't like the cut out on the slide on the x Carry because it makes me feel like more crud can get in the gun. For the 2 round difference and night sights the 250$ difference was just not worth it in my opinion. The trigger is the only thing that makes a difference in my opinion but both triggers are top notch. Even in competition I don't think a shooter will really notice a big difference between these 2 guns. I love all off the new sig series though. They seriously hit a home run with this line.

I have both (P320 X Carry and X Compact) and for as similar as they are, they very different when it comes to 'feel' while holding and shooting. Further, as different as they feel, I like them both equally for what makes them different. In the end, this observation was taken to another level toward personal preference by simply swapping out grip modules. I prefer the Wilson Combo on my X Compact and Mirzon on my X Carry. Hard to express in words, particularly given the subjective nature of what I am describing. Overall, the X Carry and X Compact are more different than one might imagine based on appearance. . . both are GREAT. As far as EDC goes, I still prefer my P365X because of its distinctly compact nature compared to either the P320 X Carry or X Compact . . . while I enjoy the shooting dynamics of the P320 variants more. If SHTF and I have only one pistol firearm as I run out the door. it would by the P320 X Compact. Interestingly, my bedside firearm is a Canik TP9 Elite SC. I could go into why, but this video is about Sig. If I did not have the Canik, my bedside firearm would be the P320 X Carry.

so will the xcarry slide and barrel fit on the p320 compact grip module? ik the 320 compact slide will fit the sub compact, so im thinking if the x carry will fit compact grip module, it would also fit the sub compact..? basically i wanna buy the xcarry, have the slide with option for red dot and cut slide, buy a 320 sub compact grip module and put the x carry slide on that, then i wont mind carrying it.

Count the "go ahead"s. It's like a drinking game. =)
It's funny how it can be completely omitted with no loss of meaning, yet it's extremely common to be said very often.
Once you notice, it can be distracting. I'm going to "go ahead" and mention it even though I do appreciate the video.
I do especially love that "height" wasn't pronounced as "heighth." That's right up there with "ambidextreeous."
Anyway, I picked up a certified used P320. It looks like it was drop tested on the little beavertail, as it is slightly deformed. I'm looking to snatch up an x-carry grip module the nest time I see them on sale. Opticsplanet just had one, but the price went up in my cart while I was dragging my feet. I suppose it's for the best because the grip functions and I would have overpaid for the Apex trigger in my cart compared to the sale at MidwayUSA right now.

Heighth is actually a word. It is height's origin. The h dissipated after the 17th century because of regional dialects across England along with American, thanks to Webster and his invention of the American dictionary. Don't believe me, look it up--merriamwebster.com. The word is found in Shakespeare's 17th century plays and sonnets. Forgive me, I'm an English teacher.

No holster with the Compact? Also looks like the case on the X has a holster cut out?

great vid. i REALLY appreciated the side by side comparison of the frames (approx. 14:32 & following). to tell you the truth, at the beginning when you showed the 2 laying on the table next to each other, you mentioned that the frames were only about .2" different in length and i found myself saying "yeah, right", 'cause the 320X in that view looks to be a lot longer than .2". boy was i surprised when you aligned them up. i think its time to get my eyes checked! my guess where that optical illusion comes from is probably the shape of the grip on the 320X is more cut out near the beavertail than on the original P320.
maybe i missed it, but are all the parts interchangeable between the 2 (with the exception of trying to put the 15 round mag into the 320x frame due to a slight difference in frame length)? IOW, could i swap out the p320's barrel for the 320X's barrel or how 'bout the trigger assembly should i ever want to switch to the flat trigger, etc... ? ==> update: just read roy menke's post. thanks roy!!

Will the X-Carry accept a threaded barrel and suppressor?
