You look in the back, its SICK OEM seats, you make it up front and you see a nice Takata seat setup and carbon goodies, but if you daily drive a WRX and know where shits supposed to be, you say: "Hold the fkn phone, all this shit looks closer to the driver, and wait.. Why are the pedals on the floor... oh shit.. the shifter... thats not supposed to be there.." etc, etc. So much R&D in this thing just for it to look aesthetically tailored and OEM+. I mean come on... He retained the stock radio bezel shape and threw a damn iPad in it.. AFTER customizing the whole dash and firewall to fit a RB28, let alone without completely shitting on the original suspension geometry of the GR Hatch body! Give respect and credit where its due. 10/10 for Billetworkz and all involved in this work of art.

That is probably one of the cleanest engine bays I have ever seen. The color of the motor and the lack of any wires or accessories gives it a real classy look. I'm not a ricer guy. I race a big block 67 El Camino. But, I would proudly run this car. This set up is ripe for running Pikes Peak! The car is tasteful and mean! Great build.

Yes. The guy kept talking about the sound, meanwhile there's barely any good shots such as giving a few pumps on the accelerator. A driving shot with external and internal views so you can hear it both ways and the shifts. There's so much missing

I saw an article on the skyline engines. They're $20k to $50k depending on desired HP output each from the Nissan company in Japan. Then add in all the custom carbon and fabrication...I'd estimate more like $200k. 😯

Whenever he talked about something REALLY interesting like the whole steering column and center console had to be extended and the sick floor mount pedal setup you went to Carbon fiber...everytime. Like it was the coolest shit ever when there is some real craftsmanship going on before your very eyes.
The engineering that went in to this build is top notch. I wish they would have touched on that a bit more.

Douglas Wilander a lot of older bikes and or stroker motor bikes have lower rpms. My 94 katana 750 is stroked out to a 923 and redlines at 11. That’s actually pretty low, but there are a lot of rb26’s that can rev almost that high

@@jif4639 I too have owned both and have had an opposite experience. Statistically Subarus hold their value better, are more reliable and have a better transmission. Prove me wrong, send a link that shows otherwise.
@@jif4639 so you linked an Evo forum and an open end track result list (not disputing performance). Reliability. Anyways. Go Evo if you are building a track car, go Subaru if you're building a daily. Evo is faster and has a better engine, STi has better build quality and better awd. STi holds it's value more and is rated much higher for reliability. Evo is obviously very rare now and is a more track oriented vehicle (focuses on fixing your mistakes more than STi). Choose your poison. I'd choose a Forester XT over either.

I'm pretty sure he's referring to the fact that he cut up the firewall and moved everything 2 inches back. When you take that into consideration, yes. It does look pretty stock.

All Skyline GTR engines are great for swapping to Nissan Maxima's. Those Skyline GTR engines are so reliable, they are great for all the Nissan cars.

seen this car in person many times. It's so clean and well done. also didn't know he actually had a hood for it. every time i've seen it it never had the hood on.
when I saw they put in a GTR engine, i was HOPING that it wasn't gonna be another turbo car. but sadly, it is. the GTR engine when kept all motor sounds soooo good! I'd say one of the best sounding engines ever!

9k is everyday Honda territory

Early fuel injected 1k cc was about 12 13k factory redline
K T depends on the bike. A lot of older bikes or stroker motors have lower redlines that would be closer to 9k. My 94 katana was a 750, now it’s a 923 and it redlines at 11... not super high for a sport bike but when it’s a stroker that happens sometimes 🤷♂️
