Awesome RR Memorabilia Pappy. Gonna look great in the Train Room. I'm going to be adding a Curio Cabinet downstairs and I've thought about filling it up with some items like these.

That's awesome! Especially the lanterns. A retired engineer from NS gave me a nearly identical lantern with the five bar NS logo on one side and the stallion emblem on the other. I have yet to get a battery for it to see if it works though.
Thatscool it actually came from an employee. Makes it way more special than buying one.. Definitely put a battery in it. They are awesome. Glad you enjoyed the video, appreciate you watching
Wow Pappy you sure got some good stuff. I hope the guy was genuine, seems odd he would roll up like that and in such a hurry to give things away. Adlake lamps were used here a lot and the Great Western plate I will have a look into that for you as I think it could be from a souvenir shop and not as old as you think although there were some odd plates with instructions around in the old days, there is one displayed at a heritage railway I go to in the gents toilets.
No luck finding when these were made but there are a couple on sale on our ebay £18 and £18.50 around $22 today 15/04/2024. Looks like they are not very rare I got a few results for them. Still a nice thing to have though.
He seemed genuine, Dave talked with him more than me, I was to busy filming a train. But it was so long he left before I could talk more with him. I have a few other lamps I'll have to make a video just for them..
I appreciate you looking into the plate, I definitely didn't know any thing about it but it is a cool piece. Not sure if it was attached to the loco somewhere. Or like you said a souvenir of some kind.. I'll have to poke around my self and see what I find as well. Appreciate your help and you watching
