    Really like the this idea Marvin! Thanks for posting this helpful videos. If any one is wondering what medal plate he used from Lowes I believe its the following: Item # 401979 Model # HRS8 USP 8-in High Wind and Seismic Strap Tie Hope that helps someone considering using this method.

    What SIZE are the O Clamps? I bought some and they were too big for the OnStage stands

    Nice video.
    What if you want to mount a heavy light like moving heads similar to the first light like vertically? How do you or would you do that if you had a lock like the second light which seems very loose (the way it comes) and poorly designed?

      @Hawaiieventsunlimited  Před 5 lety

      I would not mount any moving heads vertically with either mounts. I would use the pro clamps.

      @@Hawaiieventsunlimited I've been looking for brackets everywhere to do this but haven't found ones (u shape style usually comes with fixtures). Any idea on links please?

      @@e11world Yeah I used the stock brackets but added a metal plate for a more solid mount.

    Do you have issues with the stands swaying or moving at all during quick movements with the lights? How stable is this?

    • @Hawaiieventsunlimited
      @Hawaiieventsunlimited  Před 4 lety

      No issues at all. Very stable. i had a speaker stand drop with a moving head on top and the mount held on with no problems.
