OTG's North State and Southern Oregon Adventure
Come along with the OTG crew as we set out on a rather grandiose overland adventure into the Klamath-Siskiyou ecoregion that straddles the California-Oregon Adventure. Over the better course of a week, we'll rack up nearly 700 miles of backcountry exploration along some of our favorite OTG Routes like the Steelhead Adventure Trail, Wild Rivers Discovery Trail, and the newly minted Siskiyou Crest Adventure Trail (summer 2023).
Part 4: Siskiyou Crest Adventure Trail
Part three (days 7-8) takes Ben and Andreas to the heart of the Siskiyou Crest, but not without trouble along the way! They'll encounter snowbanks, a nagging tire leak, and later on the way home, Ben encounters a number of challenges on the way to camp that ultimately send him home a day early.
Awesome video thank you
I drove my prius to whiskey ridge viewpoint a few summers ago. Such a beautiful drive. Stock prius got there no problem...
@@matty.3696 if you swing around from the whiskey peak side, it’s not the wide dirt roads you likely took ;)
@@OverlandTrailGuides yeah I came from Applegate lake I believe to the north
Very nicely done
Every part of that trip looked beautiful!
Pretty sure I’ve been up there over the years, but your video made me want to get up there again. Thanks
Ready to do it again!
Wow
What time of year did you guys run this? Got plans to be up that way end of May, curious as to what to expect in the way of snow...
Late June of 2023. You’ll more than likely hit snow along the peaks and riddles and possibly even lower in May.
Do you guys ever get out of California or Oregon?
Absolutely-- usually in NV or AZ at least once a year, and we'll be all over the west this year!
