- Coming from a place where money wasn't very accessible, taught me to understand and learn about my personal behavior with money and how to manage it properly. One thing is for sure, I'm not into the flashy lifestyle nor pick and choose who I hangout with based on someone's income or financial lifestyle. Sure, I may be a proving myself wrong by purchasing a car like the one I did but I did it in a way where I can have peace in mind and not beat myself over it. In essence I am not trying to put anyone down for the way they purchased their cars, this is just a video I wanted to create as an example on how to buy something you really want in life. Never trade your time for the things you want, always make your investments pay for it, enjoy!

This is the realist video I seen so far about buying a car. All the rules you said are accurate. I will be buying my Supra sometime July if not for my b-day in December but I’ll be getting a second job as well just in case my job slows down because of inflation.

All people have to do is manage money right. I had a brand new Infiniti G37S at 22 years old (almost 10 years ago) and I didn't come from money. I daily drive an MKV Supra now though.

Damn bro I'm about to be 24 soon and I'm still stuck in that underpaying 9-5 cycle. I just have the issue of finding a decent job that I actually like. There's plenty of places hiring but none with decent pay and they require a college degree of some sort most of the time. Going to try and really get a decent job this upcoming year so I can be at your level! Awesome video btw, gained some really helpful advice from this.
Thanks for the comment brotha. If you’re not able to find a decently paying job then that may be a good reason to start your own hustle / business. There’s plenty out there that could work for you, just a thought. When you take inflation into consideration, working on a fixed salary or hourly pay is going to be identical to getting a pay decrease every time the inflation rate goes up. If i were you, look at what you’re into / passionate about and find a way to monetize it. Hope this helps 🙌🏼
@@officialerickg7075 Damn dude that's some more great advice. Inflation has been crazy lately. I actually live in Tampa FL and we currently have the highest inflation rate in the entire US at 8% which is even higher than NY and LA. I'm definitely going to try and do my own thing because what you're saying is very true about a pay decrease when inflation goes up!

$60,000 Mk5 Supra, so 20% down is $12,000 leaving $48,000 to pay off in 4yrs; so this means $12,000 per year therefore, $1000 per month.
Conclusion: you need to make $10,000 per month to own a Mk5 Supra (10% of monthly income)

Pretty much how I bought mine. Except instead of putting actual money down, I just traded in my paid off FRS that I got 18K for. My out the door price was $67k, so I financed $49k at 60 mo. I pay $1k a month which is ~130 more than my minimum. As for the yearly income, I don't quite make $120k/yr, but $117k is close enough.

@@755hp I was too impatient 😂 I recently got my post primary certification from radiography to computed tomography which came with a hefty pay raise of $45k/yr, so the GR Supra was my reward. Granted, I'm also in my 30s, I'm married, and my wife is a nurse practitioner. Combined, we're pulling in over $330k.

@@officialerickg7075 I have a supra and live with my parents, no hate but it's really not a big deal. I graduated college, had no loans, and decided to get myself something nice, also without a big down payment cause I'm using that down payment money in my investments instead... The amount in getting back from my investments supersedes the apr in paying. That's why I pay my cars off as slow as possible. Also, saving to buy a house now. But saving on paying rent which idk why people make a big deal about living with your parents in your 20's.
@@Chrischin99 bro live with your parents as long as you can, but like you said if you’re investing and enjoying what you love (building your car) and already went to school - you’re good. Be sure to have a plan in place for yourself for where you want to be in the next 5 to 10 years, just a suggestion 🙌🏼 otherwise, there’s nothing wrong with what you’re doing. People hate on you for living with your parents because they either wish they could or simply because they’re brainwashed by society.
