MKV SUPRA EXTERIOR DETAILING (SATISFYING RESULTS)
It's almost been about 2 weeks since I've posted, first off my apologies.. And second, Idk wth happened with the ending of this video, it appeared to me that some sort of filter was on the last part of the video. I tried researching the heck out of it in order to make it look normal but had no success.. However, if you guys have any ideas on what it could be, let me know! Otherwise, I hope you guys enjoyed the video, til next time!
Detailing steps:
1) Preparation:
- Take off license plate
- Open gas cap
2) Wheels:
- Spray using Meguiar's wheel cleaner then wait a few minutes

- With a brush, agitate the wheels. Start from the center cap and work your way out.

- With a wheel wooly, scrub and agitate the inside of wheels

- With a firm haired brush, scrub tires

- Spray / hose down wheels
( Be sure to have a bucket of soapy water nearby in order to continue rinsing your equipment)

2) Hand-washing the car:
- Fill up a new or different bucket with water and mix it with soap until it is completely foamy

- Take your hand mitt and dunk it into the soapy water and begin washing the car from top to bottom. Continue to dunk the wash mitt into the soapy water after you notice that your wash mitt isn't as soapy anymore. Try to get every surface of the car and if need be, use a brush (if you're using the same brush from the one you washed your wheels make sure to wash it well as this may scratch your paint or surface areas).

- Spray down car
3) Drying the car:
- With a large microfiber towel, dry the car, door jams etc.

- With a normal size microfiber towel, dry wheels ( make sure that the towel is damp by splashing some water onto the towel). This will create enough lubrication without creating retention between the wheel and towel.
4) Wax:
- Shake your bottle of buttery wet wax and gently apply it across your microfiber applicator in a thin line. After doing so, select an area on where you will be applying that coat of wax to (ex: the hood of the car). Make sure to dab that coat of wax 10-12 inches apart in order to have an even finish. After dabbing it, with your microfiber applicator, gently spread it across in a back and fourth motion until it is all even. Continue to other parts of the car and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes, then buff off with a clean micro fiber towel.

5) WIndows:
Grab your favorite window cleaner and simply spray your microfiber towel with window cleaner and apply it as such to each window and mirror.
6) Tire dressing:
Take your tire shine applicator and apply tire shine onto it and rub it as such around the tire twice for a deeper and longer shine.

7) Conclusion:
Take a moment to reflect on your work after you've finished and after you've drove off. This will allow you to catch any additional spots you missed or that can be enhanced. I personally like to carry a bottle of spray on wax and a microfiber towel in the trunk in order to keep the car looking 🔥..

To start off the video I installed my Rexspeed carbon fiber mirror caps. Shout out to my guy, Malen' for hooking me up and also installing my H&R lowering springs. Did you find any issue getting the alignment without waiting a bit for the springs to settle? Got the H&R’s too, just havent put them on yet. Car looks clean homie. Fellow nocturnal black here too.
No issues thankfully brother. Since the H&R’s don’t lower the car as much as other makes do, there was no issue at all with alignment. Thank you 🙏🏼💯

If it was at the very end, it was banana wax from chemical guys. Otherwise I applied butter wax from chemical guys 🙌

It depends with what suspension options you choose. With the springs I chose and installation it ended up around $600.
Not sure if you figured it out, but in regards to the color issue you had at the end, I believe you might have changed your camera’s while balance while recording. Should be able to edit it when editing the video. Clean Supra!!

I always start by applying Iron remover to the wheels which I'm not sure if the Meguiar's cleaner does. If the wheels turn purple after a couple of minutes then it does. Then I use Meguiar's large wheel brush to clean the wheels and a small wheel woolie to clean the wheels behind the calipers. Next step is to snow foam the car to loosen any dirt, rinse that off after 10 minutes and use the two bucket method to clean the car with a noodle mitt from top to bottom. Rinse that off and use a drying cloth to dry the car (being sure to open the tailgate as it's a water trap on the Supra), use another one to dry the wheels to avoid contaminating the drying cloth for the bodywork and then apply a ceramic sealant once every couple of months to keep the ceramic coating working.

It is challenging at times, I recommend being familiar with where you’ll be taking your car too. Be mindful that I’m on h&r springs which don’t drop the car a whole lot, it’s .75 of an inch in the front and an inch in the back (not a whole lot). So if you’re running a lower setup I wouldn’t be surprised if your scraping the lip every other day. I would say to go with the v2 lip tbh, you’ll be able to lower the car more

What are the tire sizes?
The rears are 305/30/19's (Michelin Pilot Sport 4S) and the front's are the standard size of 275/35/19 (Pilot super sport)!
Bro did you lower the whip or installed bigger wheels? Or is it the lip kit? Did you also hear about the taillights that are coming out?
It may be the aero kit making it look lower? But I did lower it about a month ago. And yes i did, not really a big fan of the new tail lights. I’d have to see them in person first 😎
