Since I haven't personally ridden this sweet enduro machine I thought the better thing to do would be to get the person who has been riding it on the channel. This isn't a formal interview obviously but I always like to give you the thoughts from someone who has actually gotten to know a bike instead of just leaving it with the unboxing.

Hi, just bought a pro 1 and wanted to share my thoughts so far 😊. First ride I thought this thing rides totally like a trail bike not Enduro, I found it light very responsive and needed a lot of rider input to ride it relatively fast. A few things I don't (didn't like) is the fox 38's are too harsh even with everything backed off, the steerer is too short so you can't lift the bars with a stem that's too short imo. The x2 shock is the one with issues and also feels harsh to me so I will be replacing with a coil. Tha main thing I like about the 21 Reign is it pedals well and is light, everything else I can and will fix as I enjoy sorting issues. Thanks for the video guys 👍 just my two peneth.
I picked up the Trance X from you guys as a do it all bike. It handles Pisgah and even our local parks just fine. However, since you are going to have two bikes I vote you go Reign. Plan to hit Beech or Sugar? Reign would be ideal there as well.
I wish we had those trails here in Miami , here everything is flat and rooty . Those trails are so cool .
I have this bike since December 2020 and it's the best bike ever... I feel my self the fastest and confident rider ever 😁

You already have an Oiz why not get a Rallion? The OIZ is great (I have a TR spec one) but the gap isn’t very big to the occam so if you are keeping the oiz maybe get something you can send harder
If it were a normal year and I could have my way I would love to have a rallion. The reason I went with an occam or am now thinking of a reign is pricing and availability honestly. The dates for ordering bikes is crazy😅
Hell. Yes. I have a few more months for my bike to get here but the wheels should be here in the next couple weeks! Ever use the Hunt/Mason adventures?
I haven't personally used them but I have been hearing good things about Hunt!
Hello buddy! Norway here again. Seeing as you’re contemplating the Occam I thought I’d share what I’m up to with mine. I fitted two offset bushings to my M30 and with the leaverage ratio the Occam has, it slackens the head tube angle by one degree. It lowers the bb somewhat as well. I havent had issues with pedal strikes with clipless pedals due to that. But now that I put on my massive CB Stamp sz large flats (practicing manuals) I tend to get them every now and then. I’m taking my 140mm fork up to 150mm next time the postman drops by m. That ought to slacken it yet anoter half degree and at the same time rise the bb. I might take out one of the offset bushings then, but I’ll see what it feels like with 64,5 head tube angle first just for kicks. I can’t contribute much to making your decision any easier. Just that I like prefer it with the offset bushings going down rocky stuff as for now. Yeah, and I also change the stem to a short one wich makes the steering more responsive. Hey man, I'm glad you are liking the occam! I definitely have the same trajectory as you with the bike if I go that route. I definitely want to put a 150 on it for starters. I'm honestly still leaning towards the occam more than any other but that is solely due to availability 😂 I know exactly when I can have an occam and the other bikes are a mystery at this point
That's a valid point. Things considered I'd think the same. It will be interesting to see what you end up with!
There's a massive clearance between the back tire and the seat tube at bottom out, thus no problem fitting the offset bushings. They're about 20 bucks or so.
My two peeves with the Occam are the tall seat tube making it hard to fit a long dropper, and when you grab the water bottle you are absolutely going to flick the climb switch from open to middle.
I just bought a evil its awesome bike but my giant trace rips I love it in my opinion giant bikes aee the best value just test ride one they absoultyl rip good value

How tall is Keith and what size is the reign? I am looking to buy one of these and can't decide between large and xl, I am 6'2. Thanks for the vid
Keith is just over 6' and he is riding the large. It's hard to sit on different sizes because of the lack of inventory but I would have to initially lean towards the XL for you.

I'm about 5'10 and ride a large while Keith is right over 6' and typically rides an XL
@@MossieRidesBikes Well , I'm 5'8" so for me what would it be a good match , an M ? I have a 2022 Trance 27.5 in aluminum on layaway and the store asked to decide the size so they can bring the bike in , they don't know anything about the color .

How in the world Giant came up with all those horrendous colors , did they join venture with Mazda's paint department ?
They have been doing terrible colors for 5-6 years. It’s irritating.

I agree I have a 2021 trance x 29er 2, horrible green glitter and gloss black paint scheme. It's the one thing i don't like about the bike.
