The travel keeps going up on the bikes that I am getting to take a look at. The Giant Reign is a beast of a bike that weighs quite a bit less than I was expecting. Hey there! Could I ask how you feel about the maestro suspension? Is the pedalling efficiency good and how does it do on the extreme rough stuff.
@@jarylyip Hello, I know this was 6 months ago, but the Trance is very pedal efficient. Obviously it’s not as good as an xc bike, but it’s pretty impressive. The bike is a beast on the rough stuff, even though it’s a trail bike. Once you start to go down, it doesn’t want to slow down, and it soaks up rock gardens very well.
My XTC SLR 1 was supposed to arrive at the end of the March, latest, two months later I still don't have my new bike. Seeing you saying deliveries are late in USA too makes me little less worried what's going on. Hopefully it will arrive soon. You mentioned Giant dropper. Have you guys had any issues with it? When I test out my bike (eventually) that dropper will be an option if I decide I could really use it. I'm around 105kg, so need something reliable that I can warranty if needed close, instead ordering from around the Europe. At least Giant have official distributors in my country, unlike others. And I love that dog! He's great :)
Loving the color!! PURPRLE REIGN! Man - for us "80's kids" - SOLID! name choice. I'm riding the 2020 model of the same bike. LOVE IT! :-) Difference is SRAM, not shimano, brakes. Curious as to why you're 'stoked' about shimano over sram?
I couldn't resist adding a name like that! Shimano brakes have always been tried and true for me while I have had some very bad luck with Sram brakes. Sram does have a great warranty program and has always taken care of the issues but I always say the best warranty is one that you never have to use

I bought an adapter to go from 160mm to 180mm rotor, I'm dumb and already had 180mm, can I use that adapter for a 200mm rotor?
If I'm honest, I have used all kinds of brake adapters to make different combinations work. At the end of the day, as long as the whole pad is making contact with the rotor you should be solid.

Ok. I need your honest opinion. My wife has a 2018 Tempt 3. She wants a 1x drivetrain. The bike also needs some other cockpit upgrades. Do I upgrade the Tempt or just get her on a new bike. She loves my Fathom 2 for reference
