That stage is 🔥. It's a has elemen of Seth's stage in SFIV, as well as SFV's Four Kings stage and the Operations CHAINS control room from SFV cinematic story mode.
People have to understand that things take time. During the stream, the developers were asked about how long it typically took to create a new character in Street Fighter 6. Going from concept to implementation, it turns out that it takes around two years to make a new character. That doesn't take into account how long it takes to really refine that character for the release. Compared to SFV, it felt like their were characters coming out seemingly every few weeks, but the characters usually had to go through significant changes after release and still didn't really do much in regard to meta or general looks of the game. I like this approach of quality over quantity, because not only do you really see the fruits of their labor, it forces you to enjoy things at a slower pace and actually enjoy whats out. Like all of the characters generally have had good reception when they come out. The *meta* is all player based, developers have to worry about much more than that (world tour is still a thing for all characters that comes out) and that is carrying this game in regards to sales.
Oh for sure, I'm aware of the way they're releasing characters 100%. I think what's off putting is that the end of season 1 tends to end with Capcom Cup. It's a bit awkward that Ed is coming out now but Akuma who's the last character has no release date in sight ATM at least lol. I'm still excited for him and Ed but it does feel like a very long time between character releases. Aki came out like at the end of September leaving a large gap of 5ish months with a lack of characters. Which leads me to believe they may have hit a road block perhaps which delayed his release. Now I'm ok with that but it's always good to inform your audience there could be delays. But I digress, I'm still happy to see Ed and still waiting for Akuma. Appreciate you speaking your mind🤝
Iknew they'd give EDgy a way better presentation and moveset... They couldn't afford to drop the ball on this one. Also I think those are Bison bodies in the back... Check out Bison's hat on the chair 🔥🙏🏾🔥 blessings
It's apparently german-japanese rapper Blumio and the track was produced for Street Fighter 6. We'll know for sure when Capcom uploads the whole character theme.
They been knocking it out the park with character glow ups so I'm not even surprised that Ed looks sick to play
The win pose man.... 🔥
Man... When I saw him punch through fireballs I thought, "JP you about to get that ass beat" LOL!
If you cant beat JP now, Ed isnt going to be the answer
I didn't expect Ed to cook, but manz actually had some sauce

I’m excited. My SFV main has returned and I’m about to grind with him again.
I didn't know you play Ed Like that can't wait to watch you play
