  • This physics video tutorial explains the concept behind Faraday's Law of Electromagnetic Induction and Lenz's Law using the Right Hand Rule to determine the direction of the induced current and induced emf. Topics such as magnetic flux, self inductance of a solenoid, transformers, and ac generators are also included. This video contains plenty of examples and practice problems.

I rarely comment, to tell the truth. This is only the 5th comment that I make to a video, apart from replies. However, I should say this is the most helpful video on applying the Lenz's Law. I looked at my textbook before, and I couldn't understand well. I thought at first that it was because as a year 11 (IG) student, it's too far to study year 13 (A2) stuff. However, after I looked at this video, I suddenly feel that I'm confident on doing lots of questions on electromagnetic induction. You really give lots of things that the textbook doesn't give.
You are so warm-hearted that you provide free service, just to help the students struggling or feeling difficult to understand these topics. Thank you so much!
