1/14 Scale Mini brushless RC Truggy which looks incredibly familiar…
I think it looks a lot like the ARRMA Kraton especially the newly announced 8s red/black version!
We are seeing lots of these cheap RC cars resembling their much more expensive counterparts.
We have seen the mini infraction inspired hyper go road car, the mew4 mini savage lookalike and Losi Hammer Rey look-alike!
MJX knows this styling is what makes their cars appealing and that’s why we keep seeing them.

Well I hope so because they are out of stock of the MJX 14210....I really wanted it and its not even in the American market....Looks like I wont be getting a rig anytime soon. @@beyondRC
@@beyondRC I hope that too, since i only buy 1/10th scale cars and these smaller companies don't really make them my only options are the bigger brands who overcharge those or not get you much for the money sometiems outright competing with each other to give less for more mnoey ARRMA and TRAXXAS booth guilty of this.

I was pretty confused by all the versions of this. There's technically 3 now: The original v1, the v2 reviewed here and the H14BM which has was recently released in the US. The v2 has the shaft upgrades on the back, the H14BM has them on the front too and has a different ESC that's limited by default and can only be unlocked using 5 presses to the power.
The speed runs next to the 5 sign was funny

Liking your videos and I like the fact your not going expensive as most of us don't want to spend loads. And that was a lovely thing you did giving that to the young man. He won't forget that in a hurry I'm sure he will become a rc hobbyist and probably have videos soon also. 😊
I got the v1 and did get the extras. Since it had some issues I was send for free a set of the v2 upgrade parts witch included the rear axels, front and rear upper and lower arms as well as both shock towers. The front lower arms have been strengthened by the ball joints and all the plastic parts are in a slightly more flexible plastic in the upgrade set.
How did you acquire the V2 upgrade parts? I also have the V1.

Some people are still unsure of what the v2 differences are so if it wasn't clear in the video its the rear driveshafts as the old v1 CVD's where failing. All cars which are now shipping should be V2 models. Hope this is clear enough 😜

Mine is great! Good quality for price. There is a little bit of delay/cogging, but it doesn't ruin the fun.

MJX are really making some great trucks but for my budget they need to slow down lol there's atleast 3 I really want in 1/14 and I only have 2 of the 1/16. Lol. Great video, and very nice to see it running alongside the more expensive rigs. Ps black body is nicer than the gold.
I have last years MJX Hyper go with the buggy body. Its a great model and fast on 3s. Also easier now to get parts. Your review convinced me to get one. It also gave me incentive to move up to a Kraton 4s. I still run both weekly. Just ordered new on road tires and replacement body shell for the MJX. Great fun cheap cars.

Thanks for a great review,just got mine today from Banggood, V2 version,great build,super strong high quality,also in the V2 box are as a standard ,2s lipo ,extra arms,shock springs,4 paddle wheels ,wheel wrench,body tower mounts,2 sets of body clips,wheelie bar,rear wing,2 body shells and etc,that is how all cars should come with,great job Mjx.

They just seem to keep getting it right, right price with the right performance even down to the looks.. If i had not just ordered the new Rlaarlo desert buggy i may have got one.. Just hope being as an early adopter was not a mistake I love the AM-12..

For me they are a lot of fun but not controllable. The HBX stuff handles way better. The only a hyper ago rig I would run is the baby infraction.
taken mine out once for a very light 30 minute run and snapped a front driveshaft. Hopefully just a bad batch.

What does the throttle adjustment do on the remote? Can u adjust the speed with it? Or does it determine how far u press the gas until it responds? Can someone explain please.
Sadly, on banggood the seller stated that there's no way of knowing if you get the version 1 or 2, apparently they're shipped at random. That's a pretty sucky move on their end, if you ask me, now knowing that the V1 cvds had a tendency to break
Any idea of the maximum length of battery that can fit? I'm having hard time to find a 3s of 92mm like the original. Many are 105mm or 102mm
You forgot to hit the ESC 5 times for turbo 3s mode. It's in the manual
Still managed to achieve 47mph on 3s like every other review out there 😎👍
@@beyondRC it will go faster. The 2.0 comes with a new ESC. Watch Tomleys review of it. Most don't read the instructions to see the "turbo" feature
@@seanjis007 11:54 on tomleys review. He got 47mph exactly the same as me... I have heard of the turbo function but i didn't need to enable it. Maybe it was already on :)
One question: Which 3s battery die you use for the mjx 14210?
a 2200mah 50c. If you are looking for one just google search 2200mah 3s. 20-50c will be fine. cheers

never been a fan of the 903a. The HBX 2996a was awesome though. both of those mentioned are larger and will be more capable off road. If you are looking for speed though get one of these. On 3s they are incredibly quick!

Hey @beyondRC I just got mine yesterday and it's a beast. But today it just stopped receiving power on main engine in the middle of the ride. After I restart it it works for a couple of seconds and stops again, im not sure if the battery was empty, but the servo worked just fine, and my sons car with 15000mah battery was still on so I doubt its an empty battery. The red lamp on ESC was flashing slowy so that means Low Voltage, I measured voltage with multimer and it was 6.77v, is that too low for this one to run?
definitely sounds like an empty battery. A Full charged 2s lipo will read 8.4v. Each fully charged Lipo cell is 4.20v

Only recently purchased one of these. Took over two months due to stock. Great car. Only thing is the charging time for the battery which is confusing. It's taking over 4 hours with the usb charger that comes with the car? Is that normal? It still hasn't charged so I just took it off charge as the usb charger was starting to get hot.
