If someone told me 10 years ago I would dedicate so much time or anytime to pinhole photography I would off laughed, I love the challenge and the results can be very rewarding.

Some nice pics in difficult conditions there Will. I paid for the Android version of that Light Meter app and its got a built in reciprocity section, plus you can add in exact apertures for your various pinhole cameras. It'd save you dabbing about between apps. Its one of those "worth it" apps for me and I dont think it was too steep.

Thank you very much, I will go check out them options and make a purchase :)
Ive tried many over the years, paid for a couple to support the developer, but do find this the best

I was going to mention that.
The option to export the metered value to the Reciprocity Failure section that has a timer is something I use all the time

Another lovely video Will. I love shooting seascapes with pinholes down here in Cornwall and like you I prefer overcast days as the light is softer. I hope you get your Zine finished as it would be great to see your 10 year journey in pictures.

Thank you Mike. Overcast days are the best, my wife and kids strongly disagree :)
Once I start fully getting started on the zine/book I hope to get it done this year, Ive often thought about doing smaller project zines, but feel a 10 year pinhole journey is a good place to start :)

    Nice and lovely photos!
Your beach location reminded me of a visit many years ago to vargön (Wolf Island), a rocky island in the archipelago of Gothenburg, Sweden.
The island is full of rocks that vary from round to sharp, and I remember being very careful not injuring my back when jumping across some of the bigger rocks!

You certainly put your tripod through its paces, as well as your feet! 😬 But totally worth it...great shots, particularly love the penultimate image. 👏🏻👏🏻
I've got some Lomo 800 loaded in my Holga ready to go on an adventure this weekend, weather permitting. Pinhole rules! 😂🤣

Cool to start and end with that timelapse. Traitorous ankle twisting terrain there under them cliffs, but very picturesque.
That Mia 'system' camera looks very smart! Something like that for a 120 camera would be cool too imo.

    • @WillGudgeon
      @WillGudgeon  Před 4 měsíci

Ive heard of a few people snapping their ankles here, not great , but beautiful location.
For a 120 camera that would be cool, maybe with a dark slide so focal length can be changed between each shot..I will mention it, to add to his long list of design ideas LOL

@@WillGudgeon Yeah, for 120 film there needs to be something like a slide mechanism in front of the film.
