There would have been a media frenzy in the locker room tonight no matter what. It was inevitable with Ohtani joining the club. The “controversy” had nothing to do with it.

Harris's latest linguistic flub (and in this case his error is far from unqiue, esp. among sports "writers"): In today's story, he refers to Tyler Glasnow as "lanky."
While some might consider this inadvertant insult an accurate description of Glasnow, Lanky (now added to the ever-growing list of words we find Harris misuderstanding) means not just "long-limbed," but AWKWARDLY long-limbed.
Again, he's just repeating what's been carelessly spewed by other sports reporters; but also again, it's no excuse, esp. for a high-paid scribe at a top newspaper.
(And once more, too, we find the Editor has pulled a no-show.)
