    This truly is a dream build. I'm sure it will give you a lot of fun riding. As a titanium bike user myself I am a little bored with stock looking metal and black bikes so I went for a bit customized look - matching painted fork and stem plus silver components and some color accents.

    Beautiful bike! When I installed 105 Di2 on my Waltly Ti road bike (my first time ever installing hydro discs) I also got really lucky and didn't have to bleed them either. And I've now got nearly 2000km on the bike with the Di2 system and the brakes are still just as good, so still haven't had to bleed them.
    The full internal hose routing looks a bit nicer than my partial internal routing, but watching you install the headset and the handlebar makes me happy that I chose that option rather than full routing - the full routing looks too fiddly for my liking. 😁

    Sometimes when a caliper wont centre readily it's caused by tension in the brake hose pulling the caliper to one side. It's tricky to deal with as it's clearly not practical to disconnect the hose. The only way I have ever found to make it work is to tighten the caliper enough to hold it flat, then tap it into alignment using a white background and eye judgement.

    Impressive detail build。 SRAM red AXS fd very finicky shift. I have a THM crank with Carbon Ti setup 50/37 chainring size. Small chainring to big chainring really depends on the cadence timing to move up correct without overshoot it。 Drop from big to small chainring is always perfect. A friend of mine use stock SRAM crank arm and chainring shift without problem. Is just aftermarket chainring and crank SRAM fd getting finicky. Good luck with fd shift。

It will allow you to more easily disconnect the handle-bar.You would place it in the stem. TRP has a almost similar option (HYDRAULIC HOSE COUPLER) for about half the price but unlike Zeno, it seems, you would have to change the olive /barb (at least the barb) and inserts each time. Fantastic bike! I just rebuild my ti bike with SRAM Force with a RED cassette and chain, automatically I went for a full SRAM build with the cassette and chain and I might have done that in a different way in hindsight because it gives more options but I must admit that I do like the flattop chain as well. I think it is a pity that SRAM uses DOT fluid, I do agree that installing the brake hoses indeed was just like a breeze, every rose has it's torn I guess. Where you went for Darimo I choose for Schmolke parts I must admit that an important reason for me was that I did see that you had some issues with Darimo components in your vid's, I must say that I am super happy with my decision to go for Schmolke, however it is still nerve wrecking to torque these expensive components up to spec... I do have one Darimo piece on my bike and that is their carbon seatpost clamp I'm sure it'll bring the weight of your bike down with at least 20grams! The weight of your bike is quite impressive by how light it is! I bought myself an Aliexpres scale but with every try the weight changes with 500 grams while the only thing that has changed during these tries is the time lol. Anyhow, great build, great vid and now it's up to you to enjoy that great bike! Cheers Bob

      @@klein-concept Über das Wuchten findet man in der Tat wenig Informationen im Netz. Es gibt einen Französischen Hersteller der sich darauf spezialisiert hat Der ist sehr teuer und Exklusive. Aber ein modifizierter Wuchtbock für Motorräder tut es auch. Als Gewichte verwende ich die Bleiband Klebegewichte für Golfschläger.
      Da bei einem Performance Bike jedes Watt zählt, ist das Wuchten der Laufräder sicher das günstigste und effektivste Tuning.
      Zu dem halten alle Komponenten länger.
      Ich bin mir sicher das jedes Profiteam Ihre Laufräder bei Bedarf wuchten. Einige Hersteller haben Ihre Felgen gegenüber dem Ventil bereits um ca. 9Gramm erschwert . • @michaelnewman4302
    @michaelnewman4302 Před měsícem +1

    Personally, I don't think there's any such thing as installing or re-installing SRAM hydraulic brakes without doing a bleed. Also, you didn't grease the barbs, olives and compression nuts when connecting the brake hoses to the levers. This is required.

    • @klein-concept

      Thanks for letting me know. I only installed shimano systems since some time and never needed to grease them. So might have to fix this up.

      @michaelnewman4302 Před měsícem +1

      @@klein-concept There are good videos on CZcams, including SRAM's own content. I'll also observe that early on, you casually tightened the headset bearings, mentioning that you'd straighten the bars later, when you straightened the bars, you then tightened down the stem bolts without having ever done a preload on the headset bearings at the top of the stem, off of the stand. You may still find play in the headset when you lock up the front brake and rock the bike forward and backwards. If you have play, put the wheels on the floor, loosen the stem bolts, adjust preload through the top cap and then retighten the stem bolts. If it was me, I'd do this anyway.

    • @klein-concept
      @klein-concept  Před měsícem +1

      Seen it as well now. Do you think i should redo it or wait until i need to bleed it anyways?
      Good point on the preload. There is no play now but i also disassembled the bike 2 days later to bring it to Mallorca and there i build it up again with preload first. 🤜🤛

    • @michaelnewman4302
      @michaelnewman4302 Před měsícem +1

      @@klein-conceptTo the first, you can't use olives twice (you can reuse the barbs), so don't disassemble the brake connections till you have spares. It's a question of whether or not you're comfortable riding it as is. I'm not sure I would be. If it was me, I'd get spares and grease and bleed as soon as I could. I'm assuming you've been riding it, so your current confidence in your brakes is based on practice, not just on theory.
      On the second matter, preloading the headset takes seconds, so I would just do it. It's good to be comfortable with this, especially of you're going to be routinely loosening the stem bolts for travel, either to remove or rotate the stem. The top cap preloads the bearings, but it's the stem bolts that lock that preload in place. Once the stem bolts are tight, it's not strictly necessary for the top cap bolt to remain tight. This is how such things as tools that store in the steerer are possible.
