Most informative and concise Magpul MS4 Sling review I've seen. Watched 5 other loooooong reviews that still left me with questions. After watching your brief but info-packed vid I now know what I'm getting when it arrives and how to attach it to my M4.

Two point sling with quick release always my favorite. Need to get that length adjustment on the fly. At my age not a lot of fly. Great job.

That's a sweet AR setup and I recently bought this sling and also I have the same Magpul CTR stock and hand guard but in mid-length version and only thing I'm missing is the M-Lok. When I put it on my AR was down to my shins and I didn't like it that low but if I had the M-Lok it wouldn't be a problem and you're very quick and informative on this MS4 sling!
Thanks brotha yeah the setup for this AR took me a while to put together I wanted it to be tactical for multiple combat scenarios, very versatile and yes get the M-lock, a more comfortable carry means you can get around much faster and, it takes a load off trust. Do you have any problems attaching/fitting the QD swivel onto the Magpul CTR stock QD mount? I've heard that the regular QD swivel as oppose to the QDM one didn't fit right on the CTR stock and that the stock wouldn't allow the QD to swivel. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
I don't have any issues with fitting swivel to the stock it goes on fine I just put the swivel at the angel the strap is on me, the butt stock does block the swivel but 1 out of 10 issue a 2 its not a big deal as for the QD mount am guessing they want a full 360 turn no you don't get that it turns just a little but good enough to operate rifle. Its perfect for me no complaints here.

Good review. I threw my sling away because it turned out to be fake. I got it from ebay years ago. The quick adjust was super hard to adjust. On your video it looked easy for you unless you are just so damn strong lol.

Good review but I would’ve like to have seen you demonstrate with body armor and gun belt. Also maybe slow down when talking to really hear you describe the product and finally maybe put up links to go to for product purchase.

Did you have to get a mount for the ctr stock? Or is the hole designed for the quick mount swivel that comes with the sling?
No the CTR but stock comes swivel ready

Yes Those to tabs are to make the sling tighter if you want it to be that's the basic part of every sling well most slings.

Great vid! Anyone have recommendations for running the Ms4 gen 2 in a tac tec carrier? Im Attempting to route it.
I just put D rings on my shoulder strap to keep strap from rubbing my neck I don't really to much after that what did you have in mind for your 5.11 plate carrier.
@@EclipseEntertainmentPresents I ran the Ms4 sling through both shoulders (under the velcro flaps), however it pulls down over time without a plate in the rear to counter balance, and the length is obviously off since it isnt around my body. So, I Was thinking of rigging a carabiner or two to the rear molle, then routing the sling through it, then under the shoulder "flaps" to distribute the load better. Ideally getting more of a pull backwards on the front as oppose to directly down from the neck What do you think?

Where is the best place to put the rear we?? The butt stock or on the rear of the lower?
Honestly its up to the user whatever is comfortable and easier for you to do weapon transitions with jumping climbing running or if your wearing chest rigs plate carrier plays a role on which is more comfortable, and easier for you to move about with.

The other end on my hand rail is just fine
it could be the stock check both end of the swivels to make sure there the same

Butt-stock should be in your shoulder if setup correctly, not hanging around your abdomen. puts the weapon way to low as it setup now . you should be able to lift the front of the rifle and butt should be in the pocket of your shoulder. just saying.
Thanks bro, yeah your going to have to send me to a channel so I can see how to properly set in that position and if I can switch from 1 to 2 point if needed. I've tried it I'm 5 5 cant get it to a comfortable position as fa r as the shoulder pocket lol yeah I know by take 50 start to slip up. Its a lot different when there's a camera on you feels unnatural trust thanks again.

Do these QD sling mounts work with BCM furniture standard mounting locations on the stock?
I'm pretty sure there the same size not 100% though it doesn't seem smart for magpul to make accessories that only match there gear that wouldn't be a good marketing move.
@@EclipseEntertainmentPresents i only ask because a guy i ran into at a gun shop recently had a gen 1 Springfield saint with the original BCM furniture on it and his magpul sling QD's wouldn't fit in the receiving portion (near the end of the butt stock.) The magpul piece was too big to fit. And I have BCM MLok furniture on mine
@@robl884 Yeah I wouldn't risk it then man I would look for a different sling or see if there is some type of adapter you could attach to the but stock, or do what I did and bought the butt stock that works for the sling.
@@EclipseEntertainmentPresents yeah, I'm just gonna send it lmao gonna try it out, if it's not compatible I'll just replace the stock. I'm not super in love with the BCM stock anyway; but im sure it'll be fine when it gets here. The ms4 QDM Gen 2 (with the heavy duty QD mounts) have been out of stock until about 1230 today; and I got lucky and ordered one before they sold out again. I know that the HD Magpul QD's work with this stock because I have one in it right now with an Amazon-Special sling attached to it. I found everything I need I think, and like I said if it doesn't work, then I have an excuse to order a Magpul stock 😏🤙

@@EclipseEntertainmentPresents hey so it’s not a real magPul sling. The pics on eBay are of an authentic sling. But this ain’t it. The quality is surprisingly good well stitched like really well stitched. The qd’s are magnetic another video said if it’s not magenetic it’s a fake. The strap feels tough but feels soft? I can’t even find an off stitch, it slides across clothing but the softness makes it feel like it’s not there? No branding anywhere unlike pics on eBay . This isn’t magpul but honestly this shit is good.. maybe I will buy an authentic MS4 for my next rifle and compare. I never had such a solid counterfeit 😹

that looks like a fake. They have different QD mounts, using side draggers and not a push button.
Also you should wear the stock mount sided on the outside, away from your cheek. That drapes the rifle properly.
Thanks for the advice for the stock mount that actually feels a lot better, its not a fake I know the sling your talking about its just a different style I wasn't feeling that one went with there push button. I've purchased a fake Magpul MS4 sling a while back the sling was flimsy the material was shinny I should of kept it and did a review on it but it cost 60 bucks so did what any red blooded american would. Sent that shit back.
