KCS Leads 247

KCS 4010, and CP 9753 lead CPKC 247 west, in Duplainville WI. It's still cool to see these old Milwaukee Road searchlights still guarding the CP side of the diamond here. CP and CN cross here. The leader had a amazing NF K5LLA! KCS has been putting K5LA's on there ACE's like crazy, really nice to hear a good NF K5LLA. Lighting wasn't good, it was going west, and it was late afternoon, still turned out nice!

Nice catch! I really like it how it's relatively quiet first then the bells begin to ring and the train blows it's horn and then you just hear the sound of the cars passing you. Just something I figured to point out. Regarding the searchlights, I'm so surprised that they are still in use. And here I though the track 1 crossing on Pilgrim road in Brookfield holds the only piece of Milwaukee road era signals in this area on the line. If they are still in use.
