  • WAMX 6023, WAMX 6028, WAMX 6024, and WAMX 3890 lead T4 west, towards Janesville, WI, on WSOR's Waukesha Sub. This was filmed on the Entrance to Sunset Park, just west of Waukesha, WI. It's been a long while since I caught the T4! Sometime in March, it's schedule got changed, so it was running though my area around 3-5 AM, way to early for me... This was the first time I saw it in about a mouth, but there's rumors that it's crew will get called in later, making it the reliable T4 again, who knows. I was happy to catch it, with a neat 4 unit lashup. Leading was 6023, one of 2 painted SD60M's, followed by two patched SD60M's, and a GP38. Neat EMD duo, even though it was completely back-lit. The K3LA on this unit is strong, and was making some really nice echoes! Loved it. Very nice to see this train again, it's my reliable Saturday Morning T4!

Nice catch! Love the shiny paint job on the leader. Also cool that the friendly engineer gave ya a horn show there!

Thanks. Wisconsin Southern keeps there units relatively clean (unlike CP...). I always appreciate little horn shows. The guys on this train are usually pretty nice.
