CSX In The Hudson Highlands Featuring EMDs, BNSF, And Friends • 05/04/2024

this was an incredible day. lots of trains, great friends, excellent food, and beautiful views. this is one of the most beautiful areas to railfan in all of New York. this trackage is the former New York Central RR West Shore Line, which saw passenger service until 1959. up until the CSX takeover, you would be able to see some impressive trains coming thru here, such as Conrail's TVLA, now CSX's I-003.

I went to Mine Dock Park in March with my friend we saw a CSX train going by, too bad it was flooded where the tables were. It was great otherwise!
