    That was an excellent walk through on how to carefully, thoughtfully and methodically remove a carb on an older machine. Very grateful. Thank you.

    I have noticed your excellent communication skills. You leave no words out. It really helps explain what you see in your videos. Your camera person is pretty sharp, too. All put together, it makes a very complicated procedure simple to understand. Thanks

    Great video. Thanks. I'm thinking of just buying a whole new carburetor instead of the rebuild kit. Is that a good idea, or do you recommend just doing the rebuild kit?

    • @JohnsonsSmallEngines
      @JohnsonsSmallEngines  Před 2 lety

      The problem with Tecumseh carburetors is. The OEM (original equipment manufacturer) are very expensive and if you buy a cheap aftermarket carburetor, you may not get one that works. I personally prefer to rebuild a OEM carburetor and if it doesn’t rebuild then you must make a decision to either purchase a OEM or aftermarket carburetor.

      Hi Brad. My carb was non-adjustable. I replaced it with an aftermarket non-adjustable. Do you have a link to a rebuild of a non-adjustable carb? I put on the aftermarket carb but I have to run the snowblower on full choke or it sputters out. The original carb is also non-adjustable, but I think I want to try the re-build kit and put the OEM back on. I was looking to see if you had a re-build video of a non-adjustable carb. Thanks.

      My apologies, I just found this in the "Held for review". I do not have a video yet for the non-adjustable carburetors. We are getting out of the snow throwers do to warmer weather but if and when I come across one. I will make a video.
