Great to give The Shadow the love he deserves. The '94 film was awesome. I did not know about these figures, but picked up the basic Shadow figure at the flea market and wanted to see what else came in the line. Thanks!
Yeah not problem! The Shadow does deserve more love! And it’s a fun line to collect. I feel like there should have been one that uses Caps to make loud Gun sounds, like Kenner’s Robocop and the Ultra Police
"The sun is shining, but the ice is slippery." Dr. Mocquino is my favorite because of the voodoo doll, the shrunken head mace, and the giant chicken foot! I think the Lightning Draw Shadow is the best of the line because it's the closest to the main character.
Awesome 90s collection 😎 I was a kid at that time, and I got 4 of this: The Shadow Lamont cranston, The Standard shadow, the Mongol one and lastly, the ninja... as for the vehicle's - the shadow motorcycle was a gift from one of my family relatives (cousin) cause he doesn't want it anymore. Wow those rings are worth something now? I remember 5-10 years ago there were multiple listings of those rings for less than 10 bucks. I'm glad I still have one then.
Yes! That’s what made me want to get this line. I had a chance to buy the Thunder Cab or the Dick Tracy Police Car at a swapmeet. I chose the police car. I took a few step and decided to get the cab, but it was gone. That made me want it more lol
Great video this was my first complete toyline i got 2 of the rings. One a s a Christmas gift and the second was stuffed in an open packaged quickdraw shadow that the atore i got it from didnt really pay attention to nor did anyone as it took me more than a year just to buy it out of wanting a back up figure. Wish there were a few more characters added to this line
Yeah, it’s a fun line to collect and the fact that it’s finite is satisfying. It reaches all the different levels of collecting, from easy peg warmers, to popular figures, to very difficult to find prices like the mail away ring. Also it’s not a popular toy line, so it’s not to bad on someone’s wallet
Awesome review! I've always liked The Shadow character, and I have a weakness for early '90s pulp movies, so I've always been tempted over the years to buy these at toy shows. I just watched the movie a few weeks ago, and now I'm all in, going nuts on eBay and scouring comic book and vintage toy stores! It's a fun line to collect since they're not that expensive--I haven't had much trouble piecing the collection together so far.
That’s awesome! They look great displayed together too. The ring was the hardest part to find for me. I’m glad you are appreciating the figures, they totally need more love.
@@RazHolly Yeah, I've found most of these figures for close to their original retail, which isn't easy for vintage toys! Lucky for me nobody liked the movie. 😆 But yeah, I saw those rings on eBay! Fortunately I don't need to have one, though it is a great piece. I did, however, go to a toy show this weekend and found a Shadow action figure carrying case for $10. SOLD!
