Simple fix for t. Eden:
Has 3 fixed red hearts, can get spirit/demon hearts but no more heart containers
When they take red heart damage, they transform
Every 5 red hearts collected creates a random item

@@rkjj. It's not that he won't, it's just so ingrained into his brain on how he uses Dead Cat that unless chat is constantly yelling at him how to exploit it, there's a 80% chance he's just straight up not gonna remember it
@@CastafioreOnCZcams He may end up doing it by chance though. It's not like he is dead set on taking it as Jacob after all. Well, this feels like something that may get patched out since it feels more like a bug than a normal exploit.
In return you sacrifice your sanity by fighting Dogma+ for all eternity
The angel meta is very effective on this character. Usually, getting at least two angel room items allows for consistently good rerolls. Avoiding red chests and curse rooms is also a good way to heavily reduce the chances of cursed eye or dead cat rerolls that can kill your run against a difficult boss. Tainted Eden is fun when you focus on the right item pools.
Isaac's Heart remains the gift that keeps on giving...

Rerolling into only Planeterium items on that one pickup is pretty pog, too bad it includes all the zodiac items too
I may be in the minority but I think Tainted Eden is a very interesting character. You just gotta get a good item combo and don't get hit 4head

Low temps makes your body have to work more to make up for it but i bet Bernie just loves his sweaters.
I actually like the more homey feel of the normal background instead of the neon epileptic-inducing lights. I'm also not a zoomer, so that's maybe why.
Green screens are great, the only problem, usually, is separating hair from background...

With NL's videos I seem to (sample size = 2, only been watching since late 2020) return to series I really enjoyed about 1 year after they were first uploaded. Did the same for Spelunky 2, now doing the same with Isaac. Can't wait til the SM64 speedrunning is a year old, there was A LOT of gold in that one, as well as Elden Ring

I think that tainted Eden is a pretty ehh character most of the time BUT I do really like how items you get stay in their item pools when being rerolled, let's you experience a whole lot of interesting interactions

NL, I know this is probably just going to get buried and unseen, but I have to try anyway. I've watched you for years and love the content. This was by far your most successful Tainted Eden run, which I'm sure you believed was a combination of skill and luck, which you definitely have. But you usually have that on most of your runs. I suspect there's a third factor involved. What made this Tainted Eden run different? *You didn't take a single item from the Deal with the Devil Pool until the Dark Room.*
I've not looked on the wiki, but I suspect that Tainted Eden's reroll (maybe it's just the new reroll engine?) only rerolls items with items from the same pool. On this run, you chose Angel Deals and rerolled into a number of Angel Deal items. You also found a Planetarium and then rerolled into several Planetarium Items.
Now, what items ruin Tainted Eden? Nine Lives and maybe Abbadon, both of which are in the Devil Deal pool. So hear me out: don't take Devil Deals (or items from the Devil Deal pool, like red chests) on your next few Tainted Eden runs, and then see if Tainted Eden ends up working out a bit better for you?

@@jafidayman4832 Maybe, but it kept the charges which seems weird, and with all the other bugs lately that's my bet. It also rerolled Alkedama into itself a few minutes later, and that's another item that has "charges" it retained, seems too coincidental.
TBH watching a Northernlion steam and then switching to Bob Ross seams like a pretty good deal if you ask me.

U.v. is always the frequency complaining about racism between skin colors. U.v. is also the frequency that is dividing our race by skin color.
I wish I could challenge u.v. to tell all of us how it explains that inconsistency.
It's just a waste of time to worry about it, tho. Skin color is OBVIOUSLY not a valid division of people, at least in a "reward and punishment" regard.
The solution is for u.v. to go back to breaking silica up into water and free electrons, instead of trying to do the SAME to half of the people.
I think this really is an important issue, and I honestly do feel confident that it is the actual solution to racism.
You could even argue that melanin is not a mark upon selfish desert people...
