There are a few good monster collecting RPGs. There was a mobile game that was pretty rough, some indie game some dude made with an RPG engine for mobile devices. It played like final fantasy except you could recruit the monsters at low life. What was cool about that game was permadeath for your monsters and you could combine them. Combining them did not always make them stronger but the new monsters may be new classes like tanky or mages or archers. The system was extremely robust and wish i remembered the name.
Palworld just got an update. Worth checking out imo but the public servers are not so good so expect either single play or look for a group to join a private server. Can get pretty frantic, more of an adventure game.
Proceeds to avoid talking to most NPCs, then complains the game doesn't teach much. Classic.
Typically if NPCs are very important they'll stop you automatically!
Many players do this in my game as well. Some go so far as to skip through all dialog then complain that the NPC's are lifeless and boring... Players don't know how to read anymore.
@@hungryongame As a youtuber this is a pretty bad assumption. If you're going to play a new game, you should engage with the content presented to you as the developers intended. You'll have a better time if you immerse yourself in the game and trust that the devs know what they're doing. If they don't, it'll be immediately apparent and that game won't be worth your time.
@@hungryongameNot necessarily. Some games you’re supposed to talk to everyone and interact with everything to progress. Not all games want to hold your hand.
