Thank god they mentioned at least once how a glee club with apparently no budget always put on elaborate numbers complete with costumes and sets literally to an empty auditorium
some of them were real but most of their extremely extravagant performances were their imagination. it’s pretty clear in the episode where the unholy trinity does toxic and it cuts between them in the glee room with the cheer uniforms, to them in the big stage thing with red lights. so i mean they could have easily found a way to pay for the occasional elaborate performances, but other than that it was just their dreams to be amazing.

A Shell bra Is a shell bra, and she was a highschooler.

The thing is it's like they changed the writers team each season - so many storylines were developped then completely left out (as if they had never existed) the season after. But no, they prefered focusing on the songs and performances. A least we have that, but still. The show deserved such a better ending than what we were given.

I didn’t like season 6 so much, I missed the old high school group, Marley Ryder & Jake that triangle, and other stuff too. They brought in random annoying kids when they already spent so much time developing the old squad

I actually adored when in the last season they got so self-aware of their follies. Especially the "new" glee kids lines whenever the older ones came back and took over all the singing.
I feel the last season they just threw I the towel addressing some of the crazy stuff that went on. Especially the newbies knowing they shouldn’t sing when the OG cast is there and they were just props.
I have a theory that Brittany is the smartest character in Glee and she constantly found out that she was in a show, so the powers that be had to repeatedly wipe her mind eventually making her so simple, but every once in a while her knowledge of the insanity, being on a show and the plot points comes through and but it seems so insane that me just think lol Brittany, but it turns out she’s right.

I actually adored when in the last season they got so self-aware of their follies. Especially the "new" glee kids lines whenever the older ones came back and took over all the singing.

I feel the last season they just threw I the towel addressing some of the crazy stuff that went on. Especially the newbies knowing they shouldn’t sing when the OG cast is there and they were just props.

I have a theory that Brittany is the smartest character in Glee and she constantly found out that she was in a show, so the powers that be had to repeatedly wipe her mind eventually making her so simple, but every once in a while her knowledge of the insanity, being on a show and the plot points comes through and but it seems so insane that me just think lol Brittany, but it turns out she’s right.

The problem with Glee being “self aware” is the same when The Avengers make jokes about Hawkeye being useless- they think that by acknowledging it they don’t have to fix or justify the problem. If these were just designed flaws then it would be fine, but they aren’t.
