ma-tryosh-ka. like when you say yo to someone without the -ou- part. fun fact-matryoshka was created in 1890s and was modeled after the japanese doll daruma with the same exact concept-doll with a lesser doll inside with a lesser one and so on
and it's name comes from a common russian women's name in 1890s-Matryona or Matrona
